1. has the video game industry gotten more or less profitable in the last 10 years?
2. I'll pay the extra 10 bucks, but devs gotta cut that dlc bs. Stuff like MHW Iceworld (forgot the name lol) or Witcher 3 dlc is fine. Otherwise I want a complete game.

There is no way they'd ever cut DLC/Microtransactions. They make way too much for what is essentially nothing in a lot of cases.
