I very much enjoyed the game. Thought it was fantastic. The ending didn't quite sit too well with me, but I don't think it was supposed to. Even that's a minor complaint compared to how good the rest was.

That's very doubtful. She's in a long term relationship. Basically married but they just haven't made it official.

It does feel that maybe under different circumstances there could've been something more, but I'll settle for a friend atm.

Yeah, we text fairly often. I'm usually at fault if we're not, I'm not the best texter. Still she doesn't hold that against me. She brought me dinner at work once so we could visit. That was nice.

Hm, I had just become friends with a co-worker and she invited me to lunch. We hadn't decided on a location or place yet, then everything shut down and she's been unemployed since.

Otherwise, I guess a year ago when I went to the mall to meet a poster from CE. That was a nice day.

Yes, I do feel like I've failed at life. It's because I have. You haven't yet, you're just starting your adult life and still have lots of time to improve it.

Don't fall for the same traps I did. Build yourself up, change your thought patterns. Don't put yourself down or dwell on things too long. Tell yourself that you're good, that you're strong and confident. Even if you don't believe it. It'll help retrain your brain to process positivity more. Remember what these guys are telling you now, keep that with you.

Think it was a dog. My family the cutest fluffiest Chow named Honey Bear. I don't think I even have any memory of her, but my mom has a photo of me hugging the dog at like 1-2 years old.

If it wasn't her, then it was my brother's rabbit or a turtle we also had at the same time.

This. It's really ridiculous. I get so many guests checking into the hotel with no masks. They usually bring it up because they see me wearing one. They'll mention that they have one in the car and can go get it if it's required. So I politely mention that it is still mandated to wear one in public here, but they always refuse to go get it. My bosses have told me I can't refuse service to anyone who refuses, and none of the other staff wears one... It's like, what's the point of even trying? No one's going to go out of their way, even in a dangerous global outbreak.

Yeah. Quite a bit, but it could've been worse. Mostly sabotage stuff, like writing letters to classmates and signing my name to it. Stealing my stuff and throwing in the garbage, grading my papers wrong when we checked each other's or changing/erasing my answers. Once I went to open my locker and got a handful of... something. It had been smeared on my lock.

Got kicked around a bit too, but that wasn't too bad. Just one year a group of the popular kids took to holding me down in the locker room and kicking me. Happened maybe 5-8 times over about a month or so. Started to get bad, but I guess one of the other students reported it. We were met by the principal one day and he called me up in front and gave a speech about bullying and singled out the 3 that had been doing it. Needless to say, they thought I had told and things didn't exactly get better after that.

Generally, just no one wanted to associate with me. I remember when it was time for everyone to sign our class flag in senior year. I just chose a spot that had room for my name, but then everyone started giving me trouble because it just so happened to be near one of the popular kid's name. They painted over it instead of letting it even be near the other person's. At that point I was just done, I skipped the last 3 weeks or so of school and only went back for the graduation ceremony.

None of my co-workers wear them. And 2 of them are immunocompromised as well. When an elderly guest said she wasn't wearing one because she'd lived a full life and knows she'll her time is coming soon, my coworker agreed. Said if it's her time she'll die, and if it's from the Corona virus then that's ok, because the mask makes her uncomfortable.

I was thinking to myself "you'll be even more uncomfortable laying in a hospital bed fighting for your next breath." They don't even get the concept that they're endangering everyone else. Just to avoid some discomfort for a few hours? Literally gambling with other people's lives just to comfort themselves.

Yeah, I work the front desk at a pair of hotels. Seems like nobody is taking it seriously, only a few guests wear masks, I'm the only employee who does. And people are gross, had a guy today talking about his stats being completely open, then proceeded to drool on my counter. I don't think it was intentional, but seriously dude.

Got a 2 inch scar on my far on my left heel. Stepped on a broken bottle when I was little and gashed it open. Mom wanted me to get stitches but they didnt.

Got small burn on my right arm. Nothing special, bumped into a hot stove.

Got a small simple like hole on the left side of my nose. It's from when I was swarmed by bees when I was little.

Got a small scar right between my eyes. I was running around and ran face first into a detached metal door that laying on something I was running past.

Got a big scar on my belly from surgery. From my groin to just above my belly button.

Not really. He was a horrible father, horrible husband to my mom, just a horrible person in general. Absolutely 100% self centered, nothing and no one else matters to him unless he's getting something from them. He has what I would describe as unrelenting selfishness. He will not stop until he gets what he wants, no matter the cost to others(he almost never pays anything himself). Constantly insulting, violent, and formerly physically abusive along side the mental torment.

He very nearly died a couple of years ago, and I really didn't care much one way or the other. I feel like that makes me a horrible person too, but that's just how it was.

I still try to be a good son, and help him, but it just ends with me being used again.

Been moderated around a dozen or so times since about 2004 I think. A couple of times for accidentally posting on the wrong board and the topic got moved. Once for spoilers even though the topic was already marked for spoilers. Once for something I jokingly that was misunderstood to mean something entirely different, but that was my fault.

The last few times I've been blocked/suspended for mentioning something that can't be discussed here. Last time was a couple of years ago.

Had a co-worker that would sabotage the rest of us. Would sign his paperwork that he checked everything and it was good, then he'd go make a mess. Things like tossing garbage around, writing on the walls, pouring water in the floor, smearing grease on stuff. Then he'd say it was like that when he got there and decide to leave it for the manager to see rather than clean it up himself. It'd just get him a free day, and he started doing it every day.

Took a job at McDonalds once. The other employees kept pushing me to buy drugs. When I refused, they said they'd spike my drink with something when I wasn't looking. I didn't stick around at that job long.

My current coworker just cares about himself. He changes my schedule to suit what he wants, goes behind my back and lies to my managers saying that I already agreed to the changes he makes. Refuses to help at all or work any other days besides what he decides.

I don't think it's that big a deal. Had you not reset it, it could have been stuck with her in it for longer. Since you said sometimes just doesn't move. I can understand her being a little worried. But like others said, it was only a minute. So, I'm with your boss. Unfortunately, she was in the wrong place (the elevator) at the wrong time (when yo reset it). You did what was the best thing to do at the time given the situation...

Maybe the elevator should remember that...

Eh, the door still opens and closes. It just doesn't go up or down. She could've gotten out easily if I hadn't reset it.

At first I thought it was a mother whose child had gotten stuck inside till it reset. So I immediately began to panic about the kid, but then I realized it was just the woman and she was already out. So then I assumed that powering it off made it drop a bit or something, which would be terrifying, but that wasn't it either.

So then my reaction was that she was over reacting, but after a few minutes and seeing just how upset she was, I started thinking that I royally screwed up. That I caused her so much distress. Of course it had to happen in front of a big group of people too. It was not a pleasant moment for any of us.

No, nothing like that. She did mention that it shook a little when it turned back on, I guess that was it.

I was busy dealing with the police calling us back asking what the emergency was while my coworker was trying to calm her down and the other guests were freaking out because they wanted to use the elevator too and the fit that lady was having. It was a big mess. Maybe it just felt like a bigger deal than it actually was, but she was hysterical.

The elevator has been having issues. Every once in a while it stops on a floor, then won't move to another. It's not stuck, it's just not receiving the signal to go. So we have to reset it. It takes 1 minute to restart then it's good to go.

Well, we were really busy last night and I was running up and down the stairs helping guests on different floors. When I went back down the same crowd of people were still waiting on the elevator(had been like 5 minutes). My co-worker was telling for me to hurry up and reset it, and the guests were fussing at me. So I quickly stepped into the maintenance room and reset it.

...well, after the minute was up and the elevator started moving, I stepped out to find pandemonium. People were running around shouting, others were leaving, and my coworker was shouting through the elevator doors to someone who was inside. When she came out she was in tears and freaking out. She had just stepped into the elevator on an upper floor as I reset it. So once the doors closed she heard it power off and none of the buttons worked, then she heard it kick back on and it started descending.

Ugh, the amount of terror on her face when she got out. She had already called 911. Took us about 20 minutes to even calm her down enough to stand up. I feel so awful about it. It was terrible. At first my coworker was sharing the blame, "we reset the elevator" or "I told him to reset it, and he did." Then after about an hour she started throwing me under the bus. "He reset it there was someone in there, I had to calm them down" and "Dustin locked someone in the elevator and they thought they were going to die."

I called my boss and told her what happened, and that it was my fault. She was much more cold hearted about it. "Wrong place, wrong time, get over it lady." That was her response, beyond laughing at the general idea of us trapping someone inside. This ones going to stick with me for a while.
