This is a bit of a tough one for me. Too much of what we know is subjective here. If the man had significant reason to believe he was going to hurt more kids and that the law wouldn't do anything, then this is justifiable to me. If the law really isn't doing it's job, I think you should step in and fix it, especially when other innocent people sit in the balance.

My problem here is that we don't really know if he was going to hurt more kids. It's definitely suspicious that a 61 year old sex offender has a playground on his property and that he was supposedly pretending to wash his car so he could ogle some kids down the road but if thats as far as he was gonna go, theres no justifiable reason to kill him.

A lot of the issue is also that somehow this person that has molested multiple kids has somehow only been in prison for 2.5 years. Like, that is clearly a failing of the legal system. It's unclear just how many kids he abused and how long it's been since then.

I guess I lean on punishing the killer but perhaps a lighter sentence than he would have otherwise gotten.

That's also a problem with this. We don't even know if he was telling the truth.

I may have just misread that "5 GB" one. Unless the game was just that poorly optimized. Reminds me of Divinity 2 and how obviously it must have been poorly optimized since Witcher 3 used less space than it.

It varies a lot from beekeeper to beekeeper. Some honey producers treat bees pretty poorly, others genuinely care about them and give them vastly better lives than they'd have if they were in the wild. For somebody who does care about their welfare, it's certainly possible to do some research and find some more ethically produced stuff, but I can understand why somebody would just skip that effort and avoid honey altogether.

I'd rather just skip the effort and eat any honey.

Note that there is already a system to provide pronunciation guides for difficult or unusual kanji (or for works aimed at children and other beginners who don't know much kanji): furigana. That system works just fine when you're learning and addresses your complaint of not being able to phonetically sound out a word.

I'm pretty sure most shounens are in katakana though.

It used to be confirmed canon in the EU.

It IS canon even in the films that they literally allowed them to escape the Death Star so that they could follow them back to the Rebel base (which they immediately and successfully do), so shooting them would have been somewhat counter-productive.

Leia literally points out "the ease of their escape". Han scoffs at the idea, but the films kind of establish that Leia is usually right and Han is kind of an idiot, sooo...

Plus Grand Moff Tarkin literally tells Vader that "I'm taking an awful risk" and mentions the homing beacon they put on their ship. It doesn't make all that much sense to bother tagging someone's ship so you can follow them if you have no intention of ever letting them escape.

Edit: no colour in the original writing of the woman, the colour is in a recollection of what someone else said. The something else being shown in the opening post and clearly saying "color". My sentiment still stands though.

Pretty much this. They're having a pretty good sale too, but most of their "exclusives" will be on Steam in a few months (where they'll likely have even better sales around Christmas time).

Gotta give Epic props for trying. Steam was hated when it was launched. Origin was hated when it was launched. Uplay was hated when it was launched. Epic's store is no different. It'll be hated, but eventually, people will soften up to it (namely because people hate to wait for for decent exclusives).

Of course, each of these game storefronts will have haters that persist till the end of time.

Epic is hated because of the exclusivity deals. The hate will never soften.
