nah, one aspect can be ethnic but another racial. using sickle cell, most common within sub saharan african descent. this isn't an ethnic group, there's multiple ethnic groups in that region, we're looking at a racial one. it affects black people in the US, Africa, and Europe alike despite multiple generations and regional differences. you can do the same for certain bone issues across different races too, it's just certain quips in the DNA and body that do mark differences that have stuck with us for literally hundreds of years.

The concept of black people as a race goes beyond people of sub-Saharan African lineage. Yes, something like sickle cell anemia is most prominent in multiple ethnic groups all more recently descended from a similar region. But thats not all black people, and what ethnicities count as white and black have changed over time

I would go with, "Does it have Mario in the title?" as how I would separate things. That however, eliminates Luigi's Mansion and things like Super Princess Peach that a lot of people would combine with the Mario series.

The logo in Smash is a good idea too.

And the Spirits are organized by Series so its easy to see what they consider Mario

Spin-offs makes it very hard for it to be not-Mario. The series has dabbled in more genres than anything so unless you want a specific genre it's an easy choice.

Of course it also depends on what you classify as spin-offs. Would that include Luigi/Wario/Yoshi games? If so then Mario is a spin-off of Donkey Kong so it would be better to go up a rung and select that series.

I think it has to be something that would get the Mario series logo in Smash

So Luigi yes, Yoshi/Wario mostly no, DK definitely no except for the Mario vs DK series

But things are not equal. You cant discount the addition of the Womens World Cup just because its an outlier and then men failed to qualify for theirs. I am talking about average viewers overall for both.

B1 typically does have mini events occur which manage to get more sales and customers than normal but B2 is still in some way competitive due to better hours/wider selection. however one year, B1 does not have its sale occur. well, when B2 launches their sale they get results so good it not only beats B1 that year but manages to topple everything up to B1's last sale.

this does not mean B2 had more customers in the previous years, B1 did.
it means B2 had something so massive it brought in a ton of new customers in their outlier period.

now this could mean B2 will get a lot more repeat customers but it's not known yet.

Its a data set for the most recent full World Cup cycles for the men and for the women

The point in the cycle matters far more than the actual year. Obviously if the men were in the 2018 World Cup, their viewership for 2018 would be ahead of the Womens in 2018 who would not be in the World Cup because they dont have one. Vice-versa for 2019

Also overall viewership for TV is going down each year so if anything, having an earlier data set should be an advantage

Overnight ratings for last night's SmackDown are in and -- for the first time on FOX -- the show fell below two million viewers for both hours.

The final average was 1.919 million viewers. The show averaged 1.941 million viewers in hour one and fell two percent to 1.896 million in the second hour.

In the 18-49 demo, SmackDown averaged a 0.5 rating, matching last week for the lowest the show has done in that category since debuting on FOX. That trailed everything on network TV last night except for a repeat 20/20 special on ABC and tying with an episode of The Blacklist on NBC. SmackDown usually wins that demo, but the show has lost about 20 percent of its viewership since the move to closed set episodes.
