Yesterday's post was a joke, too, though I didn't make it clear. But I've always understood the format, at least I think so. I believe the first number is the R2 ranking while the second number is the original R1 ranking. I'm not sure why (96th/192nd) gets tagged at the end each time, though.

1) Honestly, I don't think so. I think a way that involves sending in votes privately would make the purpose of the wildcard choice much easier to actually realize, and saying "please don't look at other votes" might not help much. Not that I don't trust people, but you never know.

2) Requiring using all 6 votes if votes are kept public.

3) If it's changed to be more private, then obviously yeah. Otherwise I don't think so!

4) Yeah probably, but if things are done privately I would imagine it to be manageable to have them run multiple days while other divisions continue on.

5) As soon as the division is over. Thinking about what I said above, have a division's wild card voting open for the entire couple days where the next division over is going through Round 2 may help people find time to make decisions and relisten to stuff to make decisions and whatnot.

WOW today's matches are INCREDIBLY GOOD!! Scrap I/O was actually my gateway into the Neotokyo soundtrack in VGMC12 lol, I hadn't even heard of the game before and I'm pretty sure I wasn't too impressed with it Round 1 but I do remember liking it by Round 2. metallic forest ambience beginning very cool and then the HAUNTING PIANO MELODY COMES IN I LOVE THIS PIANO 1:26 instrument is so good and filtered i like that a lot lot too this song is just fuckin crazy cool sounds all around. How I wish I could vote for it in Round 1 this time but oooooooops desire below flow here to block scrap's flow path oh no. The intro is just IMMEDIATELY so cool SCALES AND THEN BREAKING UP AND JUMPING EVERYWHERE what the heck.... and then it busts into the triplet stuff and like whooooaoaoao it suddenly is a lot more "fire emblem sounding" AND THEN 1:00 STARTS and now its a cyberpunk rpg song????? WHAT IS THIS SYNTH this is a very "controlled madness" song, like it sounds everywhere and random but also like all that randomness is meticulously placed to decieve you and that's so cool. great, great song.

from the creators of amazing songs like (ELPIS not EANIE) and (arche not apxn) comes (....HYMN not NUML???? konami pls LALALALA this sure is a PON and wac song all right, although hearing vocals that aren't actually lyrics for a high-level boss song by them is kinda crazy, but I like it. The super reverb farawayness on MarL's voice is really cool, and the way its chopped up in places like 0:34 is too cool, especially layered with the extra reverby chord voices in the back. Very, very dreamy song that still fits all the pop'n weird music tropes that is what makes the sub-sub-subgenre so good. Adventurous Inventors initially makes me think it is going to be very HEAVY GRRRRR ANGRY SONG but then once the intro passes (which is really cool build up) and it goes all techno i am IMMEDIATELY very impressed!! AND THEN IT THROWS VOCALS all this jumping back and forth synth stuff in the calmer section with the vocals is whooooooa. definitely my cup of tea and this is definitely on my radar as something that will grow interest with me, but for now I gotta take NUML

WHOA Wyrm's Jewelbox is VERY cool!!! very rhythm game plus shmup-y which.... i guess makes sense since its a shmup kinda (in the same way senko no ronde is a shmup lol) i LOVE these synth choices and the trumpet and the FAKE PIANO THIS IS THE FAKE PIANO THAT IS MAYBE MY FAV INSTRUMENT EVER rhuzerv piano. holy crap I remember listening to this during noms and during pre-contest but i guess i never.... really LISTENED to it so like holy fuck actually paying attention to it now it's even cooler than i thought lmao. Thrashard in the Cave is ALSO WAY BETTER THAN I THOUGHT HELLO???? i think before i was like "yeah this is chill but i'm kinda like mmmmmmm okay cool sounds next" but rn it's like. wow i'm getting LOST in the SPACE ZONE this is not something i expect when listening to Sorta Fujimori music wowie! i definitely still have a clear preference for wyrm but like yeah wow. this match impressed me somehow

marias soo niiiiiiiiice i know its slow and REGAL and doesn't really do anything at all interesting but GOD DAMN ITS SO NICE. daisuke achiwa atelier rock instruments are so good haruka shimotuski is so nice this song is just. its nice. broken record saying but that's the best way i can put it. guitar starting at 4:00 is such a nice contrast to the slow song by adding a faster solo i like that part a lot!! the specific part of the melody at 4:37 is def my favorite bit of the song by a long shot. great song. i appreciate what ready to shave is going for but it's not for me at all!!! i like cheese but this is permesan cheese and I Do Not Like Parmesan :((( maria is the kind of rock i like and ready to shave is the rock i dont like, though i do like electronic elements enough to where this is still in the 6.x realm. easy match for me oops

Distorted Happiness is always something that I think I like less than I do and then when I listen I'm like OH YEAH THIS OWNS like straight away when it kicks in at 0:30 pretty much its like oh. yeah. yep. and then when the chorus kicks in i REMEMBER HOW MUCH THIS CHORUS KICKS MAJOR ASS very good Evil Anime song \DUNN/ piano hit. Redial is very cute and fun and BREAKS YOOOOOOUR WAY TO BEAUUUUUUUTIFUL GIIIIIIIIRLS i love it but its kinda too bland to really super stand out, especially against distorted happiness even though its "pretty close"
