Ive only been influenced once (Long story, but i didnt do it for me)

I got really fucking paranoid.

It was back 2015, and March 2012->February 2014 was.. a period that id like to call Hell.

After that February its slowly been getting better, but i had a serious flashback to that hell... and it made it clear to me, how much better i was in October 2015, than 2013.

I dont know what that kind is truly called (is it paranoid?), but... i feared worse.

Im not good at learning new stuff as is, and im well experienced with Chrome now

Combine that with the fact it syncs bookmarks, and history across devices, would make it very difficult to switch to something else.

I do have firefox as an alternate though.

On the main page comments are down, Suggested videos to the right.

m.youtube.com might get fucked over in that way, but idk, i dont use it anyways (Force Desktop mode FTW)

Yeah i have the pc version and it got both, hence i got confused because they simply offer you a choice with little explanation.

Yeah i can see the confusion for new players. But definitely play hackers memory second otherwise you could end up confused, spoiled and such.

If you think you need more than 2 tb of local storage, think again. The massively slower speed of hdd's is irredeemable if you're installing games on it. Load times are unreasonably long.

In what games? Id say 2-5 minutes for GTA V to boot up, and thats about the longest i can think off, plus thats really only once per session.

You can. You move the files in Windows and tell Steam where the new location is. GOG, Epic, Uplay, etc works the same way

If youre using steam im not sure you can just switch, but you can uninstall/reinstall

I personally dont know if ill ever use SSD for anything but OS and critical programs, because the price is too high.

One of my oldes, and definitely most memorable, experiences with PC Gaming was Half Life 2 on my moms desktop

This thing could take 5-10 minutes PER load screen, NOTHING i own right now goes beyond that number on a 7200rpm HDD, closest would be boot time for titles like GTA V, but in those cases its mainly JUST boot.

Base 2070 on my end, but otherwise same setup, i think you should be perfectly fine, just be vary of Temps for 1440 gameplay above 60fps. If you arent going at, or above those numbers youll be more than fine.

As for hardware monitoring i had to do some research to find something that works for ryzen (Speccy reports nothing, Hardware something reported inflated numbers)

Ryzen master is what you want, if you want to keep an eye on temps.

My municipallity (Tinier country, id say Municipallity is like a County, and then what we call "Amt(er)" is like your states, more or less) doesnt have a lot of infected, and thankfully neither has my parents (between 1 and 19 recorded cases, although they are admittedly only testing severe enough cases, so ghost numbers) but we still have dead.

Not a giant amount (24 at last update), but considering the fact that this could all have been prevented if the government had just been quicker on the response 1-2 months ago

Am i wrong for saying that we knew back in January that this thing was gonna be ugly?
