I'm indifferent.

Never watched it until I started dating my GF who puts on the Tv as background noise to fall asleep to. I've probably watched majority of episodes two times over, or at least once. Some hits, some laughs. I won't go outta of my way to put it on though.

I suppose that is true. It is the thing I least need, and I've been running my current build without a cooler...ever since I initially built it, I could also spend that additional 80 somewhere else.

Worst case when It's 120F here in July I can get one then.

Yeah. It's only 120GB so the OS take up the majority of the space, which is why I would be looking to upgrade to something more sizeable.

CPU: Ryzen 3 3100 (potentially Ryzen 3 3600 depending on your budget). This would be a fairly substantial upgrade for your system.

Good to know.

As far as my budget. As long as it's not stupidly priced(in who ever's opinion) I'm fine. I'm buying most of this stuff one(maybe two) with a couple weeks spaced in between. No real urgency here, but my build is starting to show signs of being slow. Only thing I've upgraded on this build in the past 8-9 years is my GPU. Which I upgraded in 15 for the Witcher 3.

That's my current build.

I need to upgrade some parts for a couple of reasons. My motherboard is old as shit. My GF got my some new RAM for Christmas and I can't use it because I don't have a compatible motherboard. She got me a Corsair Vengeance LPX 2x8GB/ 16GB (3000). I love my CPU as well(for the past 8 years), it's served me well, but that might need to be upgraded as well.

What I am looking for;
-Something budget friendly (doesn't need to be cheap though)
-Motherboard that is compatible with what I currently have, including the new RAM.
-Potentially a new CPU
-Also since I live in Phoenix now, any recommendations fora cooling system would be appreciated.

Final thought.

Gwyn on NG+ is infinitely harder than normal NG. Breezed through everyone else.

My game is glitched apparently, and won't save Grant and Sanctus to my inventory for some unforeseen reason. Killed Leeroy twice, picked up his weapon and shield on both playthroughs, but not showing up in my inventory, twice. Guess no Knight's honor for me.

So just expanding on my playthrough:

-Everything leading up to the Lord Vessel is deadset perfect. The design, soundtrack, pacing ect, is perfect.
-Post Lordvessel is great! Just not as good.
-Like I said earlier, when it first came out I probably had tomb of the giants near the bottom if not the worse area in the game. Nito near the bottom as well for bosses probably, Lost Izalith maybe just a tad higher, liked it a bit more. But man, going through Izalith was a nightmare it's too bright, the lava walking sound effect is atrociously loud and of course Bed of Chaos is by none one of the biggest drops of quality in a top-notch video game that I can think of.

I know there are gimmick bosses in the series. Dragon God before it...was OK nothing spectacular, especially compared to what was before it. Bed of Chaos was just nightmare inducing rage. Why they made you have to make that jump is beyond me.

-Upgrade and reinforcing mechanic is still annoying. Not so much the system, but the fact you have to run back n fourth between several smith's to get something made. In practice, or the idea of for story or lore reasons I like that there is multiple smith's. Gameplay not so much,
-Speaking of Smith's...the guy in the catacombs whose name I am blanking on. Was his voice also gratingly loud and static? Hurt my ears every time he talked.

-New Londo Ruins is still fantastic. I love everything about it
-Never hated too much on Blighttown. However playing with a smooth 60 is a much better experience for the level for everything and everyone involved
-Demon's Ruins not as bad as I remember.
-Catacombs along with Tomb of the Giants are two area's I appreciate a bit more since I've gotten older.
-Duke's Archives is a lot better than I remember.

Overall first 70% of the game is on pace for me to best all-time material, even taking into the account of the clunky upgrade system and jumping mechanic. Last 30% does dip, but nothing major but enough that the quality is dipping. For every bright spot in the later parts of the game, something else has to drag it down. Whether it being re-used bosses, obnoxiously loud sound effects for walking in the lava. Where as that first 70% was a super smooth cohesive unit running at 100% efficiency.

Going to jump into 2 probably sometime this week. I have a soft spot for 2. It was when it was my peak interest in the series. Beat the game within the first 2 days I think. Played it a couple times since it first came out, but according to Steam I haven't touched it in 4 years.

Playing through Dark Souls again(maybe the whole trilogy) because of the GOTD. Revisiting some of my favorites.

Anyway. Holy shit I forgot how awful the Lost Izalith is. Only to be capped off with something worse. Dark Souls is a classic, but this part alone prevents it from being the best. Semi-interested on how Dark Souls II feels after having not played it in a bit.

Resident Evil 4.

It's just a blast to play no matter what. I've probably pour thousands of hours across the multitude of platforms I've played/own it on.

Skies of Arcadia rotates as my number 1 as well, but that's mostly nostalgia based, outside of being a great game in general.

I mean, your choices in ME3 (and the games prior) absolutely impact the way the game plays out. Everyone just focuses on the limited ending choices as if that's the only thing your choices should (mass) affect.

I don't necessarily disagree! I really enjoy ME3 a lot, but the impact of the choices is completely different between the games.

The ending is just the biggest reason why people tend to have gripe with the game(outside of maybe diminishing RPG elements.

Witcher 3 is like the antithesis of ME3 in terms of the narrative and the choices you make. Where ME3 it ultimately doesn't matter all that much what you did.

Where in the Witcher 3, it does, and you can get drastically different endings to various major quests which in turn also affects the over all ending as well. Instead of you know, here's 3 choices, pick one.

It's a nightmare matchup for ME3.

Mostly because of the active PvP scene still.
