Wouldn't a neighbor chat be open before the game even starts for the neighbors to communicate before the game went up? Gravy's in game behavior being the sole reason doesn't feel like it holds unless I am mistaken in how the role works.

You just used the role yourself, so you could shed more light on it.

I did not immediately enter not wanting to know who my neighbor was.

I eventually went in before game started.

I then promptly left and did not return till Ben stepped in.

How on Earth would it have done that? Why would talking with your neighbor, or even just acknowledging him, poison you?

I've had multiple mason and neighbor games. I think I know best how they affect me. There is nothing wrong with wanting to start this game on my own.

Anyway, I did not want to have any influence into my start of this game. Getting involved with gravy regardless of what his alignment is would have poisoned me. Frankly I didn't even want to know who my neighbor was but that was out of my control.

Ben and I haven't really spoken, but neither of us are really trying either, I'm sure if I engaged him he would reciprocate.

Something I didn't figure out for a long time: If you quit the game, it will save and take you back to your last bench. So if you are low on health, just quit the game and resume. It'll keep everything you found but you'll be back to the safety of a bench.

That's good to know about the geo.

And while the difficulty can feel intense the only true frustration I've gotten is the game putting my hollow behind a currently unaccessible location and it wasn't till after this area did I finally unlock the rotten egg guy.

I'm really enjoying the game. Dunno why I never played it sooner.

I remember having something very similar happen in the caves. I think I just got over it and moved on but yes the game can be extremely frustrating.

I may just have to let it go. No way I find the way through to open that gate without dying again.

I also was leaning both town. Gravy because his blow up makes zero sense as scum when he could just throw shade at SBell instead.
SBell for being cautious and ignoring gravy when it would be easy to just play along and immediately try and pocket heavy for free.
Thats also why SBell looks scummier of the two if I had to pick one because its easier to make a case that SBell didnt want to give anything away.

I guess that's fair. I can't really argue it and it's just your personal view of the situation.

... And this game is so damn unforgiving. I have died so many times and lost so many geos. I was finally making a lot of progress and got to the Crystal Peaks, trying to get back to a shop of some kind to spend my geos since I've amassed almost 1500 & I died. Well that's OK, I'll just go get my corpse ghost right? WRONG. My dead body generated behind a gate which I can't open yet and I can't reach him with any attacks. Seriously, wtf?

Has this happened to anyone else? Giving up 100 - 200 geos is one thing but this is so much more. :(

That is an excellent question red, thank you for asking.

I'm not going to meta past game replaces and allow it to poison my thoughts towards this game. I will take each action in this game and analyze it. I think the way he replaced out points more to town than it does scum. He was excited to be my neighbor and then I ignored him and he took his ball and went home. Scum doesn't do that, 5 hours into a mafia game.

Now I'm neighbors who with Ben and while I will start with a town feel, I'll need to start the whole process over again.

And based on a page and a half of content, I felt he was definitely scum and I made a good decision.

Why did sbell ghost gravy:

I've been burned by neighborhood before. I didn't want to come into this game with any information because it makes it harder to form opinions based on actual mafia and not meta. (for reference, in adventure time mafia I was still convinced puns could be scum up until the point he died night 1). I was going to eventually talk to him, I didn't mean to break him.

Proving your role isn't the problem here. It's your alignment.

Why not stop playing role meta games and start playing mafia.

Your body of work thus far is nothing to be desired. The game has told you this by voting you multiple times.

If your defense is "hey I'm a neighbor" perhaps you should reevaluate the situation.

Day 2 WFH / Day 1 Homeschooling the kids:

Actually got all the school work completed relatively quickly. We started school at 7:30 and were completely done by 10. We'll except for Win's reading but she didn't need supervision for that. All in all it's not so bad, thankfully I'm only dealing with kindergarten and first grade, I can't imagine how much more intense it can be for older grades.

This only set me back two hours really with work but losing those two early hours completely killed my entire mindset and add on the fact that even though the world is ending everyone needs to close on their house immediately, the rest of the day was a total shit show.

With all that said I'm extremely thankful my industry is still thriving (for the moment) and I'm afforded the opportunity to still work full days remotely.

Im looking at Carnival Cruise stocks. Theyre way down from their 52 week high. Theyre incredibly risky, but if they survive this event then there will be a big payoff at the end.
