Ultimately, if people actually observed proper social distancing measures, wore masks, washed hands properly, and consciously kept their hands out of their faces a lot more of the country could be opened up, with those proven to care for high risk people and those that are high risk themselves should get some financial assistance if they can't work from home. I think that is a reasonable compromise. But the people that want to open up right now are the ones least likely to be safe for others sake. They were protesting 3 weeks into the shelter in place orders. --- |
