Sounds like it was a travel ban that prevented foreign nationals from entering the US. That's what a "ban" normally does, prevents people from doing something. I'm probably the only person who voted for Trump in this entire thread. Does that make me a "troll?" And he isn't perfect, hasn't handled this perfectly either. But I read a lot of fake news that gets cited as real and I am always going to shoot it down when I see it.

Big part of this is also the media - they were 100% rabid impeachment coverage during all of this time, barely lifted a finger about coronavirus. I think you are right.. they added a laser, and he used to seal the doors of a truck (since they couldn't show him cutting up the soldiers inside with the laser in 1980s TV :P)

Then there was another movie set in the future with the title "Knight Rider" that didn't have any connection to the 80s series but had a sentience implanted in a futuristic truck/car

1) Did someone, anyone, in this topic say "Democrats never lie"? If not you just created a strawman to argue against and derail the topic..
2) Are you stating that if person A did something, we can't be upset if person B also does it?
3) Where in this topic (or others) did people claim the Democratic party was the "beacon of honesty and morality"? So far is seems that you are again creating statements nobody said ..
4) Again, who or where was it stated "Democrats don't have to eat their crow/mistakes"?
5) You need to reread my question - I asked "With the frequency that Trump has lied". You said the website was broken - is that a lie? Because now it seems like you want to expand the scope to "All politicians politicians promise things that don't happen". Are you saying all politicians have as many broken promises as much as Trump?
6) Let's take AOC - "Not knowing what she's talking about" is a lie?

Glad to hear that lady was helpful and a vet attended to kitty!! I spoke to a coworker who does a lot of cat/kitten rescue work, and she had some advice
*Keep the kitten clean, dry, and warm - she suggested cutting small holes in the toe of a clean sock, sliding it over the hindquarters, and then cutting more at the other end to create a small jumper/onesie that still lets the mom clean/groom the kitten
*She didn't think the injury came from mom - from her experience animals that get aggressive with their young nibble on extremities first
*Keep the kittens together, but if you see them roughhousing (unlikely at this young age) separate them a bit so the stitches don't tear

Also, to echo 35. set up a GoFundMe - I'm sure you'd get support!

Nextdoor is a site that lets you post things by address, so only people in the same area see it - you can post almost anything, from "looking for a repairman" to "found lost dog". I'd post exactly what you've shared here - "I found and am caring for some kittens, one is hurt. Unfortunately all the vets I've talked to are already overwhelmed and could not help - does anybody have expertise with caring for hurt mammals? or have any other ideas?"

I haven't posted to Facebook in.. five years? But I think a similar message would be the best way to ask for help, as you are both looking for somebody that might be able to directly help as well as any other ideas.

She still seems like a fighter. She's not at the point of lethargy yet. But she's clearly in severe distress and her voice is frail and low.

I think the emergency place told me to let go because they're probably extremely overwhelmed right now helping people's actual pets. At the end of the day, the kittens are now hitting 14 days, and are the children of a stray when every stray this month is having babies. NY has one of the largest stray populations in the country. And reading more about fading kitten syndrome, it's very common even in healthy kittens. I already lost one to FKS before.

Have you tried posting on Facebook or Nextdoor to see if anybody else closeby has ideas or experience?

Never owned a cat, just interacted with a lot that lived around my apartment complex - the orange one (tabby?) seemed to be the friendliest, even wanting to nap on my lap the day after meeting me.

2) As I and many others have pointed out, it's not hypocrisy because the situations aren't comparable (again, context)
