Here's one thing I've been interested in...how would you classify the production entities behind the vtubers? I know there are dedicated agencies. Then there are various corporations and organizations who joined the vtuber bandwagon. There are also indie vtubers. They usually use a 3D model with an anime art style, though not always. So basically, yeah,virtual YouTubers. They can have more outlandish design and background compared to 'white guy/girl from a major American city', more quirks, and less personal drama, compared to mainstream YouTubers. --- Into the woods, but mind the past... Also thanks for the answer. I'm glad if the drama didn't escalate, at least. Any vtubers who have videos on YouTube and they're regularly subbed in English (and, preferably, translated well)? I'm interested in how Japanese people (or YouTubers) react to Western games (like Undertale/DDLC), but it's kinda hard to find them subbed unless they're the really big names. --- Into the woods, but mind the past... The character is from a successful comic trip he made. The concept is interesting enough for me and those few I've watched are decently executed. I thought it would be kinda weird but not really.
