There is no unbiased news. The best you can do is collate a few different (reliable) sources of news.
24-hour cable news is mostly trash, for example, because they're looking to fill air time in a way that'll keep you from changing the channel. Regardless of which outlet it is.

There's some validity to it based on how quinine-derived drugs interact with viruses with similar biology, but it's something that still needs robust study before it could be said to be ready for prescribed purposes.
Plus, hydroxychloroquine has some pretty severe side effects, so it's not the sort of thing you want to be trying just for the hell of it.

I dunno, man. He's been an independent all his life, switched to dem to run in 2016, went back to being an independent, switched BACK to being a dem for this election, and even while signing his "I promise to govern like a dem" pledge he registered as an independent for the 2024 election. He may have many dem friends, but he very clearly doesn't believe in the party.
I think the intent is that even though he has misgivings, he doesn't want to destroy it and is very sensitive to being perceived as wanting to, and that this has made him loathe to even be perceived as going negative.
It certainly jives with Bernie going out of his way to disavow a Zephyr Teachout op-ed criticizing Biden for cronyism over his son Hunter that Sirota promoted on Twitter. He doesn't seem to like going negative, and he considers Biden to be a friend.

@Balrog0 , because I remember seeing you express interest in this sort of thing. Unfortunately, there's not a lot of drama to be had in Sirota's post-mortem, linked above.
Key takeaways:

1) Sirota thinks Bernie did not do enough to draw distinctions between himself and other candidates, especially Biden, particularly in regards to their records. He feels this is because Bernie was loathe to go negative on people he largely considers to be his friends and co-workers. He feels Bernie, in spite of his criticism of it, really believes in the Democratic Party and hates to be seen as tearing it down.

2) Electability was the electorate's primary concern, and former Vice Presidents are perceived as very electable in the eyes of voters (even though their track record in the general election isn't great).

3) Polite, civil, pleasant primaries are bad for the party and this tendency to silence any criticism(and primary challengers) will hurt the party going forward.

4) He decries the villainization of himself, Nina Turner, and Briahna Gray, for pointing out other candidate's records on Twitter.

Make of it what you will. Primary sources are always useful and interesting, even though they unfailingly favor the source and their position.

Because Biden was the only one besides Bernie who had notable PoC support, and the billionaire donor class prefers literally anyone over Sanders.
Yeah, this is it. Biden, purely by association with Obama, was the only other candidate with broad support (other than Sanders). If they had Voltron'd behind Butt or Klob, they would have still lost. They simply couldn't have done half as well in Texas, Virginia, and North Carolina as Biden(not to mention you could see a really silly scenario of Bernie getting almost all of California's delegates).
It'll be interesting to see how things play out: Jim Clyburn(whose endorsement secured a big win in SC for Biden) seems to expect the VP will be a black woman, but the rumor is that Klob was promised that in exchange for her endorsement.

Barack Obama coordinated with the two other centrist candidates and arranged for them to drop out and endorse Biden(along with Beto O'Rourke, who had dropped out months before) after Biden won South Carolina. This combined with months of cable news treating Biden as the sensible, electable candidate and treating Bernie as either crazy or non-existent enabled Biden to win big on Super Tuesday in spite having barely invested in any of those states, and Bernie never recovered.

The next week, as coronavirus was firing up, Bernie's campaign called for delaying the primaries, greatly expanding access to absentee ballots, and/or implementing mail-voting, while the Biden campaign assured everyone that it was safe to to go out and vote.

Viruses don't replicate the way cells replicate either sexually or asexually. They replicate more like facehuggers from aliens.
Specifically, they inject their RNA into cells, reconfiguring the cell to produce copies of the virus until it is so full of viruses it explodes. Thus the primary immune response is the destruction of infected cells, as it's difficult to catch them out in the "open".
HIV is so terrifying because it infects the T-cells that direct the immune response. Without T-cells, the immune system is basically inert.

Not to sound complacent or naive, but this sort of news happens every couple of years. And every couple of years, they manage to figure out a way to fix this issue.

In February of this year, the House passed a bill that would remove the pension loophole s0nicfan has posted about. Obviously the Senate has just sat on it since then, but this sort of thing has several simple fixes that just require the passing of legislature.
It seems unlikely this will be fixed, given the indifference of Majority Leader McConnell and the the insane grudge Trump has against the USPS because he perceives it as being advantageous to Jeff Bezos, of whom he is undoubtedly jealous as all hell and definitely has a personal vendetta against.

It would be a terrible blow to our nation if the USPS ceased to exist in its current form. It's an efficient performer of its duties and no for-profit entity would be in any way willing to deliver mail everywhere. It could also be used for different things as well (a popular leftist proposal supported by people like Sen. Bernie Sanders, Progressive Caucus Chair Pramila Jayapal, and CE's congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez all support it becoming a community banking service as well, for example).
