There are subtle things it took out from previous games that to me just make no sense. For example, you have to take out a relay box to prevent enemies from swarming the place your working through, yet if there is one enemy left, and you shoot the walkie talkie he's carrying with a silencer, somehow every enemy in a 20 mile radius is alerted of your location. Having no story at all makes it vastly superior to the trash MGS4 was.
