Hint-hint, the whole point is that cost of living has to come down. With a reasonable cost of living, minimum wage shouldn't matter.

When minimum wage goes up, how the fuck do you think companies react to it?

And you can feel free to live in another reality if you choose, but people who have their lives set up according to their wage responsibly and damn near get uprooted because the minimum wage increases is a fucking thing, because now they're in the same bubble as the people who were making less than them.

Minimum wage has gone up. And believe it or not, you still find yourself in need of more increases.

I never watched Thunderdome, but I'm tempted to now with this comment. I didn't hate the Road Warrior, but there were few things that made me enjoy it considerably less than the first movie.

I thought Renbu was fine with a bit of work. The gauge sucked, but I liked the two interchangeable strings as opposed to the arbitrary number of button presses related to each charge attack.

The grabs, dodge roll, charged heavy, motion inputs(Strikeforce), and the usual running attacks/jump attacks really helped round it out.

One of my biggest criticism in regards to movesets is that they never really added anything from 4-forward. Just changed the moves themselves for flare over substance, even though they still pretty much functioned the same albeit more powerful.

The game doesn't need DMC-style combos, but they could've done a lot more to advance the combat than they did for a while.

I'd argue that 3 was the peak, myself.

My personal ranking is 3 > 8 > 6 > 4 > 5 > 7

9 is probably somewhere between 6 and 4.

6 had a lot of surface level issues, but had one of the most promising cores imo.

I rank 5 so low just because I felt that 3 and 4 were more energetic and had more content overall, especially with the Xtreme Legends expansions.

2 and 1 aren't really worth ranking, especially not the first game.

It's hard not to be at this point.

Had it all been handled differently, you could've at least rationalized that this would've been a hard term of presidency for anyone, similar to Bush Jr.'s years.

But it's astounding just how bad his response to anything has been this entire time.

I imagine when it's all over, a lot of his diehard advocates will deny or play down the support they had for him. Whether it's a year from now or four years, no one will want to be associated with him by the end of his presidency.

It's funny that you have the chick riding with him and "Speaker 9"(passerby, presumably) even telling him to stop resisting.

I'll agree that he shouldn't have died over this incident, but he's not blameless for escalating the situation.

Chauvin's conduct is still suspect and really shouldn't be proper protocol, if it is. He should be getting tried for manslaughter, but the murder charge pretty much guarantees he'll walk free. Even then, despite the constant narrative you can't call negligence murder.
