Most modern cars can go5000 to 6000 miles on conventional, 8000 on sythethic blend, and 10k on full synthetic. If not more. My uncle I live with is a 25 year mechanic for the number one dealership in the state. He trains all the other mechanics. He'll be the first to tell you most of those mileage numbers for getting service are not only outdated, they're intended to bring you back to the dealership more often for service. It's a sham. He said most modern cars can go much longer than the general public realizes before actually needing to be serviced. If you're running conventional oil, you do not need to change you oil until the change oil light comes on. Also, you don't just get your breaks replaced, just check the pads and shoes and stuff. My car is a 2015 I bought brand new, have had it 5 years, it has 80k miles on it, and is still running the original factory pads and rotors, I have my uncle check them all the time. The only things I do to this car are changing oil, tire rotations, and filters and batteries(batteries don't last longer than 2 years in AZ) I've had to buy a new set of tires, and that wasn't until the fifth year. I just now had my first incoming issue, and that's just one of the axles spitting grease, which isn't an immediately needed thing just yet, and won't be too expensive. People over maintain their cars and feed right into the car shop racket. --- |

To this day it still freezes, crashes, and will slowdown to single digit framerate at times when in that area. And it's not a technically demanding game. It wasn't then, and it isn't now. It has not been fixed, despite the game getting multiple patches every year still(to update the creation club, that's it, and it breaks mods every time lol). Skyrim was the last decent thing they ever made. --- |
