Completing a monster collection has never been a draw to pokemon for me because the game doesn't reward you for doing it within the gameplay loop. Its better to get your well rounded six and only use them.

Played on PC every couple of years since it released and have never had any issues. (I've had minor issues with other bethesda games from time to time, but don't remember any with NV) I don't use mods though.

That's cuz all the innovation and interesting gameplay mechanics have moved to indie and middleware once AAA turned into money pits for the developer and consumer. Yea, I'm not sure how you can argue that the gameplay is bad unless you just don't like the genre flat out. So many things about the gameplay were fixed coming from 3 and 4. I agree with pacing problems, the flow of the story isn't as smooth as 3 and 4s. But gameplay trumps all for me so paired with the usual high-bar music, exceptional presentation, and finally actual dungeons, 5 is easily the best of the three (I haven't played 1 or 2 yet)

base FF15 had very little player involvement in the gameplay and it forget to tell its story. It had really nice presentation though.

(also nothing in game topped the hype of Kingsglaive's ending, and that was a major disappointment)
