Aww, it's not so bad, TC. Living with colon cancer lets you become acquainted with a whole new community of doctors and peers, an entirely new support network, and a nifty new title (Survivor).

I'm teasing a bit, but honestly it's not the end of the world. Not yet, anyways.

I literally just exited The Fade section of Broken Circle, lol. It's honestly not that bad. It's worth it purely for the free permanent 21 attribute points. Plus, I feel kinda s***ty for just skipping that entire section.

also the mod gives you those attribute points and codex entries, also you still do the nightmare and final boss sequence, you just skip the 5 levels of wandering around shapeshifting

I know, this isn't my first rodeo. I feel the same way about it the same way I feel about those mods in KOTOR and KOTOR 2 that have you skipping wide portions of the tutorial just so you can get the lightsaber and become a Jedi proper.

It's like...what's the point? It doesn't feel like I've earned the lightsaber, nor earned the title of Jedi if it's just given to me. It feels hollow.

the point is you don't have to repeatedly do griny boring samey fights and long walks over and over that aren't fun

I guess it's subjective. I don't mind it because I feel like I've earned it.

I saw the highlights...I'm not sure what I was expecting. It almost felt like they were trying to feel each other out the entire time, but it was insane to watch Ruiz just tank everything that was being thrown at him - which, in hindsight, seemed very little. Joshua seemed super reluctant to attack.

I still prefer Season 02, but that's mostly because I was crushing hard on Kari as a twelve year old at the time when the season was airing new. Season 1 is definitely better, and once season 3 kicked off I never got into it. I completely hated that they did away with the cast of 1 and 2 and was all "yeah, those kids you've been following? That was a tv show lolololol, here's DA REAL DIGIDESTINED!"

It felt like a slap in the face. Thank god for Digimon Tri.

FiM was only good up until the finale of Season 3. Once Twilight became a princess, the show jumped the shark. It got even worse when the CMC got their cutie marks in a throwaway episode, instead of a TV special or in the movie proper.

For reference, I watched all of Season 1 to 3 right up until the end and then lost interest because of that finale. When I came back seasons later to see what was going on, everything is completely different. Brand new cast of characters and the Mane 6 relegated to background duties while the initial bad of Season 5 or whatever becoming the new Twilight surrogate. I felt like the show was no longer something I recognized.

It was a good ride. I absolutely loved the space of Summer 2011 to the beginning of 2012, when I was really into the show and the fandom but it's over. I lament.

This is too fucking neat, holy shit. In bold, below, is what I wrote. It's the start of a poem I wrote last year. The rest is entirely from the A.I.

Small murmurs, frail little things, tumble from the machine again", the little black holes, the flickering candles, and the flickering candles go away and disappear altogether with another whir. You hear nothing but the silence that follows it. It doesn't seem to matter. It doesn't matter. And so on. And on and so on. The more you turn the lights up, the more there are.
