The game definitely lacked some tools for stealth/no kill runs, but I found it pretty rewarding. I did have to do a little bit of an exploit in a later mission because helping Granny Rags in the early game creates a mission where you have to kill someone. You also might not want it since you say the game's easy, but there's a bone-charm which massively helps with stealth runs. It reduces the time it takes to choke out someone to almost nothing.
