He started with every game released that month, applied a few fairly reasonable cutoffs imo, and then just analyzed everything that was left. The original site is down but I think it's all still there at that link. If you're interested in the early days of people messing around with things like missingno. that's probably where to look that said: It is not known who the original discoverer of MissingNo was. I first read about this glitch in an issue of Nintendo Power magazine under a section describing how to fight Safari Zone Pokemon. I can't believe I had to link shortener this because it thought the url was censor bypassing and wouldn't let me post it. This site is a joke lol edit: man, it sure is fun looking back into this level of ignorance around things that I know consider common knowledge Once I discovered the secret to MissingNo's attacks, I decided that a little strategy was in order. If MissingNo was the "evil Ditto", why not counter its transformation with my own Ditto? So I built up my Ditto's level and decided to take on the big, bad glitch. I made sure that whenever I battled another Pokemon, Ditto was always the last one I used. But there's much more to learn about these "mistake" Pokemon. For example, why are these Pokemon in the game at all? Obviously MissingNo looks like a REAL Pokemon. Was it originally a character that got cut from the game? Is this some sick programmer's idea of a joke? Did the developers think that 150 (151) Pokemon were enough? Why didn't it show up in Gold and Silver as one of the 100 NEW Pokemon? I read through them again a few years ago and I guess as long as you're not too bothered by the sort of prodigy protagonist thing they've got going on they're probably at least enjoyable? The setting is super cool imo and the themeing around light and light magic and just how integrated it is into both societies of the world is interesting. That said, they're still books targetted toward, well, pre-teens. So your mileage may vary. At least they're short and light reading so it won't take too long to read one or two and decide if you want to continue them --- THIS IS WHAT I HATE A BOUT EVREY WEBSITE!! The phrase can mean a lot of things depending on context but in the early era of anime/manga translations it tended to just get blanket converted to "it can't be helped". It still does sometimes but probably not as much, and honestly the meme status of it has sort of poisoned it as a valid translation option so I think most actual good translators would try to avoid it at all costs --- THIS IS WHAT I HATE A BOUT EVREY WEBSITE!! It's more just that it was super abrupt and came completely out of nowhere Caelthus posted... kirbymuncher posted... 1) she's a robot and a somewhat common trait of robot characters in fiction is being able to be reassembled 2) the most common use of divinge power in the series so far as been regenerating from extreme amounts of damage and there's someone with that power right there narratively it just seems so weird if none of the 3 of them are brought up again, they have a clear story arc going somewhere from even very early on in the season. they've got their wish, and now as of the previous episode they've also got their desire for revenge against fudo. the show actually put time and effort into developing them as characters and it would be super weird if it just never did anything with that, regardless of whether you think they deserve some sort of redemption or not --- THIS IS WHAT I HATE A BOUT EVREY WEBSITE!!
