To elaborate, I don't think pez "SK hunting" is sufficient on it's own for me to think he's scum. People can have skewed perspectives. What irked me was his justification for thinking so. red just highlighted it but I think his reasoning is backwards. In a 17 player game I assume 5 scum unless given reason to believe otherwise. A SK doesn't (or shouldn't) fit in 17 because 5+1 SK means town has under two thirds numbers, and 4+1 means the mafia is under 25%. Assuming then, 5 scum, when increasing that to 21 players, without throwing off the balance, the natural course of action would be adding 3 town and 1 scum. I just don't see how you look at that, biased perspective or not, and immediately suspect the addition of an SK unless you know more than you're letting on. Kagero is much more suited to a specialist role thanks to Attack being her one standout stat, rather than the generalist build that her prf is trying to push her towards. I'd rather they kept her niche of having the only infantry-effective weapon in the game and simply improved it, since 5 Might is doing her no favours at all. I can only assume they tested something like that and decided it was too strong, although I can't see how it'd be any worse than some of the most op skills currently in the game. | Luis_Sera89 06/10/19 12:07:57 AM #22 | Kagero's Dart is a very confused weapon. The refine effect is completely at odds with the base effect of the weapon itself. It assumes she won't be able to one-shot an opponent since it halves counterattack damage, but surely she should be building as much attack as possible in order to guarantee the conditional Swift Sparrow, thus making it more likely that she one-shots? Should she be working towards guaranteeing a follow-up attack instead then? The problem there is that her speed stat is a middling 32, and requires a lot of investment to achieve doubles on most units, which only detracts from her potential attack (and the likelihood of proccing the SS condition). So you're probably just better off refining speed for a standard desperation build (which does nothing to set her apart from other better dagger units) or refining attack for a one-shot build. Whilst we're on the subject of her weapon, why does it even need a condition for activating Swift Sparrow? He was full of praise for the core gameplay, the online mode and (unlike some others) the story mode, but was heavily critical of the Krypt and how you have to unlock stuff in general. Whatever you get from chests is completely random, whether it's things you want like fatalities, brutalities and skins, or less desirable items like consumables and icons. To unlock everything requires a vast amount of several in-game currencies and seems like it'll take many months of play to do. I suspect how this is viewed might vary from person to person. If you're going to be putting in hundreds of hours into the single player content anyway then you'll unlock everything as a matter of course. Come to think of it, all but one of the SSR's I've pulled have come within the first 20-30 tickets spent on a banner. When the voting minigame began it would start from one of four fixed points on the map. 20 units appear on the screen from these initial points, and 12 of them finished in the top 30, including oddball picks like OG Robin, Chrom and L!Lyn. What's worse - people not realising you can vote for rare seasonals and just voting for the base version, or people not realising you can scroll the screen? I guess ultimately the winners were still 3 legendary heroes and a seasonal, but it doesn't show a large portion of the playerbase in the most flattering light. When the potential bar is that high, you have to produce some compelling reasoning/evidence that releasing the merc isn't going to break the game (all of this was before week 41 clearly), and no-one could.
