Actually it might be apt to say he's the closest thing the NFL has to Dolan. He pays a bunch of people for their opinions, but will ultimately always ignore them and do something that will end up being moronic much more often than not.

It runs deeper than that.

No one on their staff wanted Haskins. For one example, all their evaluators were much higher on Daniel Jones than Haskins. They didn't want Haskins picked in the first place and didn't think much of him at all. They were trying to change Snyder's mind the entire time. He's that toxic of an owner that he knowingly derailed his team to serve his own ego.

After a bit of thought, I have come to the conclusion that Astros/Cardinals would be by far the least interesting World Series and I wouldn't even pay attention to that matchup.

I'm not sure which team I feel more general apathy towards at the moment.

Speaking of Washington, in the brief time I've been able to watch Vikings/Giants, I've been wondering just how bad Washington has to be to only score 3 points against this Giants defense

Minnesota's offense is letting then stay in the game with mistakes. Washington's offense just didn't even put up a fight.

I just don't see the Yankees as a threat to them in a potential ALCS and think it'd be over in 5.

I could see Oakland potentially pushing them to 5 in the ALDS, and that being the only elimination game they face in the playoffs, assuming Oakland beats the Rays first.

completely disagree. Twins could actually beat the Astros, wildcard teams are much less likely to. and i think the Rays beat the A's and Yankees would beat the Rays.

If I remotely trusted the Twins to beat the Yankees for once I'd think similarly.

I think the Twins *should* beat the Yankees if they play to their potential.

But yeah this is a situation where I'll never pick one team over the other until that one team actually wins one.
