Think about actually sitting on a toilet and pulling paper off the roll. Clockwise on a left-hand stand is going to feel different from clockwise on a right-hand one. There are FOUR ways to mount the roll on a vertical stand. As you can see, "left" on the left side of the image is functionally identical to "right" on the right side. And of course all the lefts are rights are reversed based on your position to the toilet. A far more useful designation is "toilet-side" or "wall-side" Right and left are not clearly defined --- pepsi for tv-game |
