One of my old kitties did this whole routine where she would carefully touch the water with her paw, shake the water off of her paw and then shuffle in place like a bull getting ready to charge. It's really, really easy to fake texts. All you would need to do is download an app to backup your messages to XML, then edit the XML file in a text editor and restore the edited backup. That's it. I don't know why they're still accepted as evidence.
