That was my first thought. But Ill feel it flare up when Im just watching tv, with no apparent stress going on.
I used to have panic attacks a long time ago and they would get me out of no where. I would be lying on the beach relaxing when an attack came, or just grocery shopping, watching TV, etc. Initially I thought I had heart problems because my chest would hurt out of no where and also did an EKG that was normal. In my case I discovered it was due to a new medication I started. Once I quit it, they stopped. But I believe its possible that anxiety attacks can occur whenever.

Has there been anything stressing you lately?

Quality drops in the middle because it becomes like 5 books of filler and unnecessary detail. And you get tired of 0 character progression.

I love the series. I snagged the first book a couple years ago on a whim; halfway through it, I ordered the complete set off Amazon, and binged all 14 books in roughly a month.
Wow. It took me two years to finish lol. I got to about book 8 and just couldnt get through the middle part. I gave it up for a year before picking it up again and trudging through the next few books.

Worth reading but be prepared that books 6-10 (maybe 11 too) are pretty much a pain to get through. The final book was one of the best books Ive ever read, with a truly epic ending. So I think its worth getting through. But as someone else mentioned, theres a lot of repetitive things and so much attention to detail it can get very dull to get through at times.

Which is to say that they're going to enter a pie contest in November and wanted to try out their pies on friends.

I tried a banana peanut butter pie, a honey cream pie, a Chai spice cream pie, and a cherry lime pie. :D
Chai spice sounds amazing! I might try that sometime. Ive only ever made apple and pumpkin.

Ugh in my rush to make these pies, I didnt add enough water to the crusts and they are crumbly. I tried saving them by adding water and was able to save one. Need to make 2 other crusts again. Meeting my aunt and uncle for dinner though so will continue when I get home.

How?
First I make the crust. I use flour, butter, salt and ice water. I make little balls that I refrigerate.

Then I slice apples and add some fresh squeezed lemon juice, sugar (some white and brown), cinnamon and some flour to thicken it up.

I also make a crumb topping (I make Dutch apple pies). Softened butter, flour, sugar (white and brown mix).

When my dough is set, I roll it out and press it to pie pans. Add the filling. Sprinkle it with the topping and sprinkle more cinnamon on the top.

I then use foil around the pie crust and bake at 375 for 35 minutes. Then remove the crust and bake at 400 for 15 minutes to get a golden crust.

Let rest an hour and eat with ice cream.

[LFAQs-redacted-quote]

I always make it Dutch. Its a hit with my husband. Im making one for us, one for his coworkers and one for my cousins birthday

Have 3 pies to bake and just got my butter crusts in the fridge (in ball form).

Time to core, peel and slice the apples. My least favorite part

Today was my last day at work. And per California law, since I gave them over 72 hours notice they are required to have my last pay check ready on my last day, along with any pay out for unused PTO. For every day they are late, the employer is required to pay a days worth of wages, up to 30 days. So say you make $100 a day and they are 10 days late, they would owe you $1000.

I didnt receive my last paycheck today. However I did see my statement appear online. There is an extra line where they account for 4 days proactively. And because its a penalty, its not taxed.

Basically Im getting nearly a gross weeks pay for freeeeee.

That's true and why I don't even bother trying now, but back when I wasn't a miserable asshole and at least pretended to be mildly happy in life I had no success whatsoever.
It sucks but for men but its really a numbers game. They have to ask out a large number of women to get one yes. My husband shared with me how much effort it takes for a guy to get just one girl to say yes and how many girls he used to ask out. Its work. And I think there is a disconnect with women who dont experience what its like to do that so they can be rude to guys who do ask them. I find its much worse with younger/immature girls though.

I get that, I do. Ive always appreciated the courage it takes for men to get out of their comfort zone and approach me. I tried to be respectful, honest and direct with them if I wasnt interested (although that hasnt always gone well). I can imagine having shitty experiences asking a woman out can make someone wary of it too.

Yup. And this is a fact thats true to man or woman. You are what you attract.

Its the same with women who whine about how there are no good men or all men are assholes. Its negative thinking that subconsciously repels actual good men. Why would they date jaded women who think they suck? It becomes a self fulfilling prophecy.

In this regard it shaped itself around Cleo. She never had to ask anyone out, or deal with romantic rejection and the guilt of imposing on others in unwanted ways. The men just came to her.
They didnt just come to me in a vacuum. I had to put myself out there, learn to flirt, dress attractively, look friendly and inviting etc. In my early 20s when I had low confidence and didnt really look approachable, guys rarely asked me out. When I found myself single at 25, had more confidence and did all those things I mentioned, I had a line up of dudes. Guys need to put themselves out there more true, but its not like I just sat there like a sack of potatoes.

Do you even know what the "nice guy" meme is? Someone who fakes being nice to get into someone else's pants. Now you're implying I want to get into your pants? Get over yourself.

If by reward you mean not being an ass to me, then yes, I expected a reward. I expect that reward from anyone, man, woman, old, young, pretty, ugly, smart, dumb. If I act in a civilized manner I expect civilized back. It's not too much to ask.

Have fun pretending men drool at the very thought of you 24/7 and assuming everything they do is with an ulterior motive, that will get you FAR in life, lmao.

Don't you forget you came into this topic calling the people ITT defeatists and some shit like that, and them you started calling me "knight in shining armor" too, you had made your mind about this before you even entered the topic. If I had kept taking your abuse I'd have gone from "knight in shining armor" to "fake nice guy" to "emotional manipulator" and another dozen feminist buzzwords, you were pretty much playing the donkey tail game.

I am starting to get the vibe you don't understand mainstream culture. You're not supposed to be antagonistic to people out of nowhere. And people with manners expect the same courtesy, it's not some sick sexual game.

wait, didn't you make a topic about flirting with some young dude at a hotel bar, while being married? WTF LOL.
Soooo much angst over a random girl on a message board

You are the one who got butthurt that I asked you to show me where I had said certain things you accused me of saying. And then brought up how you defended me as some kind of reason that makes it ok to put words in my mouth, misconstrue my posts and act like I owed you for it somehow. And now have spent the entire topic bitching about it and making references to my gender and my personal life while claiming youve been oh so respectful

Yup, got ourselves a Mr Nice Guy here
