What did it even get? And I agree Haruhi was a lock to win but it's looking the same for Monogatari this year. I'd be happy with top 3 for any of my other series.

Antarctica got 6th

and Monogatari will never be the runaway train Haruhi was - it's far too niche to declare it a definitive favorite without knowing its opponent, whereas Haruhi's popularity guaranteed it a favorable match-up no matter what it faced
