Jasmine is a bit odd in this regard. You reach her gym first, but can't battle her right away. When you do get the medicine and she returns to her gym, she's the only gym leader with no gym trainers.

(Also she was apparently a Rock type gym before her Steelix evolved. She's in a port so not the best location...)

Yeah the no Trainers in her Gym thing always seemed weird too. I'm playing through Crystal right now so that's what inspired this topic. And for some reason I thought she had a Magneton but it was just 2 Magnemites.

I always do lighthouse trainers > talk to Jasmine who asks you to get the medicine > water route trainers > get the medicine > Chucks Gym > give medicine to Jasmine. That's what everyone does right >_>

Advent Rising was a really cool story with a great gameplay gimmick and a lot of game-breaking glitches.

The first game ended on a cliff-hanger and it's been driving me a little nuts since 2005.

IIRC it was supposed to be a trilogy but they only made 1 game

Definitely still below the first two in quality but it really does a good job of capturing the feel of the franchise by reminding the audience how dangerous even 1 of those damn things is.
I watched the Special Edition from 2003, the changes weren't too groundbreaking imo.
