Straight up I wanted to read the brief myself before posting it in my friends discord. And I missed a few key details in my first reading that had me agreeing with it.

I had read it at first as you could nitpick this to not cover trans people so we want the Supreme Court to look into this. That doesnt seem bad, but its also not at all inline with the current administration so I was really confused

Gotta say, due to the nature of podcasts as entertainment and just his personality, it feels like you get to know these guys as friends without ever meeting them. This has actually hit a bit harder than I would have ever thought. Found out he and Anna had split some months earlier, too, and now Im a bit in my feels.

-So if she did pull a fake gun on them, that matters. However the police are not saying shit about what happened , and how anything went down. This makes me wonder. Normally when a Civilian is fully in the wrong the police get all the information out there right than. However that are literally waiting days to explain why they killed teenager. The fix is already in and it smells bad.

Since when does it matter if "the civilian is fully in the wrong"? It's 2019. Nobody gives a shit about what actually happens in these clickbait shooting stories. The girl could have pulled out the fake gun, pointed it at the cop and said "I'm gonna fucking kill you pig" and all of that could be on the cop's bodycam and there would still be thousands saying she was an innocent angel who was massacred by an evil cop. In all likelihood, they are probably just waiting until the investigation is finished before they go public. Could it be a bad shooting? Absolutely. But other then the speeding, crash and fake gun aspects we don't really know anything atm. Hard to judge. Not that that is going to stop anyone...

I really liked the early part of Subnautica.

I dropped off the game after I got to the first major story event. I never had the ability to build anything for a new base other than a single non-functional room so it became boring at some point. I didn't have any markers left on the map and it was becoming kind of aimless.

I had the opposite reaction tbh. The exploration/resource gathering was just starting to get dull when the story kicked off and pulled me in.

It definitely drags a bit mid and late game though.

We had a bittersweet wholesome moment when we finally avenged this priest we had met who had been left for dead. He had become a revenant so the whole time he had been this haggard vengeful spirit. We ended up having a minute where he was finally at peace with himself and thanked us before leaving for the afterlife

It's pretty self-explanatory, tbh. They're playing airsoft, and it appears this venue has a rule about no full-auto firing inside buildings. The guy had a quick trigger finger, and one of the ones he took out tried to say he was breaking that rule. So the guy showed him what full-auto really looked like on his gun. The dude took one look at what was basically a minigun burst, threw his arms up, and basically said "fair enough, I'm out."

The instantaneous turn from "you can't do that you cheater" to "sorry, my bad" was just hilarious. Like he couldn't even process what he just saw, he just knew he was beaten.

I love how impressed he sounded
