So it will be like literally every other day for people addicted to marijuana.

There's this guy that rides the same train as me and every day he's on the phone with someone just chatting about nothing the whole ride. He's very loud about it too. I've started wondering if there's really even anyone on the other end. He seems smart and coherent though. It's just like, who is listening to these speeches he's rattling off? He must just love the sound of himself speaking.

There were all these beds. It was like a college dorm or something, but a huge room with a bunch of beds and it was mostly hot girls. In my bed with me was this gorgeous chick.

So naturally I wanted to deed. I wasn't trying to bang her, but deed looking at her!

So I got out of the bed and found some tissues, trying to not look suspicious. Then I crawled back into bed with her thinking about how beautiful she was.

I was even under the same blanket as her. So I climbed back in and was trying to hold the blanket up in a way that people wouldn't see it moving up and down.

It was so goofy and seemed to go on forever. I was never able to finish. I wish I had just made a move on her instead.

Uber was always totally against tipping until people started whining about it. I still don't tip though.

The funny thing is the qwerty layout was designed to slow people down. It was made at a time of mechanical typewriters, and using them too fast would jam them. So commenly used letter combinations are placed far away from each other so that people can't type fast and jam their typewriters.

But humans have adapted to this format and now people can type faster than they can talk.

I've heard that and I don't think it's true. Just another one of those things people on the internet made up and people believed it. Like how Chinese to-go containers are meant to be folded out to make a plate, or that "no more tears" shampoo is talking about tearing the hair, not that it doesn't hurt in your eyes.

To me it seems so genius. As someone who has known how to type for many years and can now type 100 words per minute if I want to, it seems like this perfect layout. I don't know how they came up with it but to me it just seems perfect. I think it would be so much slower if it was just the alphabet straight through.

Would a different layout be the same though? I mean if it was randomly shuffled around and we learned it that way instead, would we be just as fast as we are now? Or is there an actual genius to the qwerty layout?

It depends on what you order with it. If you order a burger, nuggets, and fries, both the burger and the nuggets act as a main. If you don't order fries, the burger is superior to the nugget and therefore the nuggets take a backseat to sideism. If you order nuggets with fries, the nuggets are a main. If you solely order nuggets, then it becomes simply a "snack".

Yep, and people also don't honk their horn as much. Several times I've seen the light turn green and the person behind the distracted line leader doesn't honk, they just wait.

Oh yes, so true. They're afraid to beep! I'll be 5 cars deep and be the one beeping at the idiot in front who has no idea the light's been green for 10 seconds.

I just asked my friend who is over and he said he purposely doesn't pull up next to other cars because he thinks it's weird. So this is how millennials think.

I see this kind of thing every time I'm driving now. I'm stopped at the line, and this car stopped way back, and I can only assume it's to avoid being next to me.

Every intersection lately, I see most cars are stopped like this. It's like a zig zag with no cars lined up evenly. Do they think the person will shoot them or what?

Tbqh I keep hearing this sentiment a lot from people in their 20s and 30s.

I'm starting to feel like if you're not like 50+ years old, doctors just sorta write you off as a pussy/hypochondriac and don't actually spend much time analyzing your signs and symptoms.

And there's a lot of them writing it off as anxiety. I've been through it all. I completely stopped drinking alcohol and caffeine. Got better sleep. Then started taking actual anxiety drugs because I still didn't feel good.

I've done all I can to ward off this catch-all "anxiety" shit but it still doesn't help.

If I have any anxiety, it's because I feel my heart going crazy and it scares me. Anxiety isn't the root cause.
