It's when people who hate comic books make comic book movies. Tim Burton was one of those people too, technically, but at least he had talent. Snyder just ripped of various comic book stories without getting them. Watchmen was only decent because it was like a 95% shot for shot remake of the comic.

Agreed with all your points except your complaint about his mother telling him he doesn't have to assume a heroic role. That's actually a cool part because it shows that he is choosing to do it not just because his earth parents pressured him into it

Despite how long the movie was it was probably one of the most uneventful films I've ever seen. There's barely any world building at all. And idk why zack kept overweighting Lois overall roll in superman story's and life. She's just a support character, and sometimes love interest, nothing much more. Good lord.
And they took far to long releasing BvS and justice league when they could have released numerous and cheap solo adventures for all the characters during that time.
