Actually, there were never all THAT many concurrently active users at a single time even when the site was at its most active, especially during off-times. So that might not mean as much as you think it does.

A more interesting metric might be to chart the shift in the number of people voting in the poll over time, to see how much it's shifted downward from peak.

tbh, while I hate that Pokemon SwSh is going to cost $60 rather than $40 (or less), I'm not fond of it being on the Switch, I don't like that they're cutting down on the number of Pokemon, and most of the reveals have been meh, it's the only game coming out this year that I'm going to buy around its release date.

I havent done anything to warrant getting put in prison either but I'm still not giving up my privacy and information to random corporate or government entities because it's none of their goddamn business. And that's a slope that is indeed slippery.
