I have a friend who cheated on his wife and was really bothered by it and convinced himself the best thing to do was confess everything. And they weren't married much longer.

So, maybe that's what you need to do, but you need to know its very possibly the end of the relationship.

I don't think I did anything wrong, but I had a... weird experience with an ex, and figured I wouldn't bother telling my wife about it because it would just upset her. But I eventually did like months later and she was more mad I didn't tell her sooner than anything. >_>

Once there is formally a date. Of course some relationships come together differently without that, so I dunno then. You can usually tell when someone is into you so should probably mention it then if its a friendship that seems to be turning into more.

I'm sure some will but a lot (not all) of Trump's biggest supporters now also loved GW Bush, McCain, and Romney, and now they hate them all and think they're RINOs, so once the next flavor comes a long most of them will move on.

Some Trump supporters do have more cult-like tendencies then I remember ever seeing much of with previous figures though, so... ?

But yeah the blaring noise is an issue if you havent/cant turn it off. Not sure why it cant be a normal textI dont imagine it waking up people in the middle of the joint is going to cause them to immediately get out of bed and start patrolling the streets, theyll see it in the morning before they are out and about.

Yeah, Amazon Prime used to be really legit and half the time stuff would come in one day but if not it definitely was in two.

Last couple years its been sort of within the next week usually. Like once in a while you'll get two days, but usually 3-5.

It's a nice idea, but yeah it seems to cover a really large area so I get them for big cities a couple hours away and that is unlikely to be helpful. >_> Or it just says "LOOK FOR A GRAY CAR!" and that's not gonna help much, either.

I'm not saying they shouldn't have them, and one success is worth the annoying sound, but I can't imagine they are effective very often.

Went junior year with a couple other guy friends and none of us had dates but it was still fun. >_>

Asked a girl from another school that I had a big crush on to go my senior year, she said yes but then backed out because they had a choir competition or something? But she hung out at the after party stuff with us and she had me go with her to her school's prom.

From Russia with Love is probably my favorite, but Goldfinger is great and has a lot of the popular tropes, so one of those two.

I dunno why Goldeneye is so loved. I assume it was "babby's first bond" for a lot of people and they liked the video game. It's aged pretty badly and was never that good. >_> Brosnan was a good Bond but like all of his movies are bad or maybe mediocre at best.

Sometimes around 30ish your hairline will recede a bit and your hair will thin, but it'll kinda level off. That's what mine has done so far. >_>

But I have had friends that started losing hair pretty significantly in their mid-20's. So if that's the case just go with it. I know it sucks for you but honestly I don't think anyone ever thinks twice when they see a bald guy (as in a shaved head and not balding in some weirdo pattern), its really just in the mind of the guy going bald that its a big deal.

I really hate how so many online delivery things want you to tip when you place the order... I want to reward good service and tip less for bad service, but its all decided beforehand.

But yeah as for Jimmy John's, I like them overall but last time we got it delivered, we were waiting a while and suddenly I got a notification on my phone that it had been delivered and clearly it had not been. >_> So I called the store and they said it would still be a while longer, but not sure why it said it was delivered before that. They were apologetic about it at least but yeah. Isn't their whole advertising campaign about how they only delivery within really close proximity so its always fast and fresh? Took like an hour for two sandwiches.

I am going but not until like the 4th week. Did the same thing for Solo, basically waited until it was about to leave theatres and saw a matinee.

Yeah, if I see it in theaters that's probably what I'll do. Maybe if some friends want to go earlier I'll tag along but its a busy time of year so odds are iffy on that working out. I might just take a long lunch and see it a random midweek afternoon in January.

Yeah I'm just very confused by this whole thing.

I didn't wanna go into massive debt, so I went to community college while working and paid as I went. A buddy of mine wanted a career that he couldn't get that way so he had to take loans--now he... pays his loan bills, because that's what you do when you take out loans.

I just don't get what people were expecting when they took out massive loans. >_>

I don't care enough to do a deep dive investigation into this, but I read earlier that the officer had made a mobile order online to pick up and had entered that as the name and thus it was printed out on the receipt sticker thing stuck to the cup--so apparently if true he was doing it on purpose just to cause problems.

Now if that isn't the case and the worker was just like, "Oh that is a cop so I will put that on the cup" then sure they should be fired.

I dunno, if I had a million that I magically couldn't invest, I'd definitely keep working for a while but at least be able to retire early and contribute more to my retirement account, etc.

I'd probably move to a slightly bigger house in a slightly better neighborhood but nothing crazy and pay off some other debt, but otherwise try to more or less live the same way, probably take slightly better vacations but again nothing over the top. We haven't been able to afford a real vacation at for a few years so just doing something simple would be nice.

I was lucky to be born in late June so I have a nice six month buffer on both sides. Perfect balance!

My daughter's birthday is December 22nd. She'll only be two, first birthday is just kind of whatever because the kid doesn't really know what's doing on, but it seems like now it'd be kinda overwhelming to have a birthday and Christmas so close together. >_>

Plus in a few years it'll probably be rough having a birthday party with her little school friends 'cause everyone probably has holiday stuff going on.

I dunno, I think we should just start celebrating her birthday a few weeks early but my wife thinks that's dumb.

Yeah, I'm sure there are both tangible things that you can read/hear about and understand if you were born after (or too young to grasp it at the time), but there definitely is an intangible feeling that you can't really have without experiencing it--the day itself and the ramifications after.

It's extra weird to think that people born after are adults now, because I'm not just old enough to remember, I was an adult back then, too. >_>

I am the oldest of a bunch of cousins, where there are 4 of us that are each a year apart in age, and then there is a 10-16 year gap between the following 9 cousins. And I was thinking of the little things that the older 4 cousins experienced that would seem so weird to the younger ones, like...

Having to ask for smoking or non-smoking at a restaurant

Using a phone line to connect to the internet, and the phone was unusable during that time

Having to call someones house and ask for a person instead of just calling a cell phone

We all got to sit in the front seat of cars when we were as young as like 3 years old (car seat laws make sense to me, but they still seem weird that kids need to be in a specific car seat for so long)

Getting to go to an airport to greet a family member or friend who as getting off the plane at their terminal

Definitely. Doesn't feel like *that* much time has passed in my lifetime but those are all things that are very much gone now, lol. Heck, we weren't even getting online at all, phone line or otherwise, until I was in high school. Just like one or two friends were online when we were in junior high.

Yeah, TRU was especially a bummer because while I had long since aged out of it and hadn't frequented the place in ages, it shut down like a couple months after my daughter was born, I did take her just to say I took her, lol, but we won't have those fun experiences that I got to have as a young kid going there and being amazed and looking all over.

I do go to Gamestop more than I went to TRU, but not super often. When they are actually having a good trade in promo I'll offload some stuff, sometimes buy something there but more often just get the store credit and order something online later or just get a bunch of currency for XBox/PSN/Nintendo eShop.

So yeah I wouldn't super miss it for how I use it, but I do like the idea of having dedicated game stores (even though now there is a lot of other weird stuff there).

And yeah, lots of people getting laid off sucks.

If I had made a career of it I probably wouldn't look back so fondly, but I was a seasonal worker there ages ago for holiday season 2005 and it was a super fun job. We kept the used consoles in the employee bathroom. >_>

I was never really exposed to porn as a kid beyond trying to watch the scrambled bits and pieces on cable. >_>

But yeah as a whole I think kids are missing out on similar things though. Like how easily accessible (non-porn) movies are. Used to have to really hunt for stuff and sometimes go to multiple rental places and it made it all seem like a bigger deal, lol. Also I think overall parents are more lax these days and kids can watch whatever they want within reason. There was something special about sneaking around and watching an R rated movie behind your parents' back. >_>
