If you're worried that would break the game, bear in mind a player who is able to capture Pokemon at that level is likely going to steamroll a gym at that level too. |

Open world on the scale of Breath of the Wild with Pokemon roaming the overworld in real-time, not just to serve as markers on the map but as part of the world, engaging with the environment and one another. Battles take place in the game world rather than separate battle screens, with Pokemon auto-battling (that does no damage but just for visuals) until the players issue commands, keeping the gameplay turn-based but giving the illusion of real-time battles. Players can also release their Pokemon anywhere anytime and use them for travel or to interact with the world around them. Sixteen towns with gyms that you can tackle in any order, and the game will scale them based on the order in which you clear them, with you only needing to clear 8 to challenge the league. Game will also include biking, fishing, and a carnival where you can play remastered versions of the games from the Pokemon Stadium titles. It will also support online co-op so you can and a friend can explore together, battle, etc. |
