A metroidvania where you lose more abilities the further you. You start with them all then need to make choices what to lose.

This is intriguing. It would be complicated to design a game with metroidvania-style exploration that you can still complete while simultaneously throwing away your ability to backtrack and explore. The game would need to reward the players in some way for sacrificing otherwise valuable resources.

Anyways, as for my idea, how about an rpg where you fight by inflicting mental trauma? The goal would be to drive the enemy to give up and allow you to do whatever you wanted to them, or to dissuade them from fighting you to begin with. High level attacks take up more "Mental Points" and reduce your own mental resistences

Psychological combat, eh? I dig it. I'm imagining the dialogue system from Mass Effect but you can humiliate and embarrass people, blackmail them, threaten them, lie to them, etc, etc. with stronger options becoming available depending on which style you roll with.

This topic was inspired by Okami. On paper, it's pretty fucking weird, even though in execution it's a Zelda clone.

If you could just hit the dots, it would be doable. Having to hit them in order? Holy hell, man, have mercy.

I actually didn't know they had to be hit in order when I was doing the blockhead on Oni Island and I was losing my absolute shit because I was laying down dots just right and still getting no results.

I drew Blockhead on a sheet of paper and then just scribbled in the dots as they flashed, then I would go and hit 'em and it would show that I hit all the right spaces, but he'd be all "Behehehe I'm a fucking douche and that didn't work for reasons" so I had to google. Genuinely thought my game was broken.

If anyone can complete Blockhead Grande without assistance, that person could probably recite pi to a thousand places as well.

I actually used my camera and cheated like a little bitch. I do not believe it would be possible without some method of cheating.

It's a shallow argument, why? Because that makes it easy to handwave it, that the best you got? Cassandra's spot is still sitting open on the CAS right now. I'm looking at it on my TV. To the left of 2B. Without her, the CSS is clearly lopsided and looks awkward. You can tell it's incomplete. I remember it being the same way at launch before 2B hit.

And yeah, I don't remember a whole whole lot about V, but I remember it had a story mode with a few lengthy animated cutscenes, modes like Legendary Souls and a vastly improved CaS compared to IV. II didn't even have character creation, IV was a massive step back from III in that regard, and V was a step forward from IV, especially once you factored in all the DLC. I'm trying to remember what all SCIV had, but I don't recall it being more than V.

Time spent is money spent in game development, so I'm not sure what point you think you made but you actually supported mine instead. More content lead to better sales and more success despite only being available on a single platform.

And it would be fine if, dollar for dollar, we got more content than previous entries but SCVI had less content overall than SCIV and SCV at launch and even with all DLC it still has less than V.

Not to mention SCIV, V, and VI all have less content than SCIII, which retailed for less and was far more successful.

The spaces for the DLC characters were left open on the character select screen. Objectively incomplete until those characters released.

Y'all complain about the DLC characters, but did you know that Bamco had less faith in the game than Tekken and therefore it had a smaller budget? The DLC characters are probably to offset that cost

There's a pretty big difference between microtransactions and DLC, dude. The former is designed with the sole purpose of taking your money while the latter is giving you additional content that's not in the base game.

Tira's data was on the disc for SCVI's release and only available through a separate purchase, either the season pass or buying her outright.

A character, already completed and in the game files, that you had to pay extra to access.

It was actually really easy. It happened over time, little by little. It wasn't something I made a conscious effort to do. My eating habits just translated into obesity.

I did it over many years starting from when I was like 8. My mom loved junk foods and fast foods, and I picked up all her bad habits. I don't blame her though. Starting from like age 10 I should have been responsible enough to take care of myself, but I never did. I just got fatter and lazier and I didn't care.

I didn't start fighting that shit until about a year ago. For anyone reading, the longer you wait to start working on it, the harder it is to fix, but it's never too late. Well, unless you already died of a heart attack or diabetes, then it's too late. Basically your only excuse is being dead.

Caramelized bananas are the shit and super easy to make. Take some bananas, cut 'em in half lengthwise, roll 'em in granulated sugar. Spray your skillet with nonstick, heat to medium and toss 'em in. Four minutes or so, flip 'em, another couple minutes, they're golden brown and fully caramelized, they're ready to go.

I just made them for my others' family this weekend, smash hit.

I recently learned how to caramelize bananas. Those are amazing too. What other kinds of things can be caramelized?
