I still have a grudge against Fawkes because he failed to save Dogmeat from a Deathclaw I didn't notice. We were in the Dunwich Building parking lot and I just completely failed to notice the Deathclaw till it had tore apart Dogmeat. Fawkes was like a mile behind, probably because he got stuck on a rock or some other piece of the environment. He finally caught up right as I finished off the Deathclaw.

Fawkes is too OP. To be fair, Charon is too but I found Charon to be a significantly more interesting character. Generally in Bethesda games though if I have a follower I want it to be someone like Dogmeat. Someone that follows you around but doesn't do all or even half the work for you. That's also why ED-E was my favorite companion in New Vegas.

I'd actually recommend picking another class. Soldier was what I used for the same exact reason you're picking it. But I discovered when playing that Biotics are the true joy of Mass Effect. So my party always had Liara in it just because I loved using her Biotics so much. Plus the pistol is actually the best weapon and every class can use that well I believe.

But if you do go with Soldier the game will still be good. I've never gotten around to playing Mass Effect a second time though, so I regret not picking Adept instead.

I'm actually at the stage you're at right now. Dead Cells with 1 boss cell is significantly more challenging than with zero. The jump in difficulty is pretty unexpected actually. I've reached Hand of the King twice so far in 1BC and got wrecked both times.

Still enjoying the game even though I only ever play it on and off now.

Bear in mind that you can also dodge roll while in the air. Helps a little bit with the platforming sometimes. Also very useful for dodging some of those awkwardly positioned spike ball traps since you can just go right through them. They designed the jumping to be pretty forgiving actually because platforming is only a minor part of Dead Cells. Combat is the meat of the game.

Most of the levels I encountered in Mario Maker were quality. The insanely difficult or just plain awful ones are actually pretty rare. I do remember the top levels page at one point did have too many auto levels, but even those were sometimes creative and a nice way to take a break from the harder courses.

Plus you were able to collect all the high quality levels you could ever want to play simply by going on the Mario Maker subreddit.

Graugs are much more fun to ride in Shadow of War. Caragors on the other hand got shit on pretty bad. They are absolutely pathetic in most fights. Still useful for getting around, but so are Graugs and the third mount you get access too.

Have you got Shadow Strike yet, by the way? By far my favorite ability in the game.

You're kind of overpowered in Mordor what with the Batman combat and Shadow Strike, but you're practically a god in War. The double jump is one of the best ever, and as if Shadow Strike wasn't OP enough, you can get a reverse Shadow Strike where you can tag any orc that's not arrow proof and teleport them to you.

That's not even getting into the loot and upgrade system where you can do crazy shit like throw exploding axes, or build an armor set that lets you make every 1/5 hits a poison attack that then makes enemies explode poison onto other enemies and so on.

You do get OP in both games, but the difference is that War is just much more difficult in general. Shadow of Mordor is a pretty easy game even before you get absurdly powerful.

Shadow Strike Pull is another one of my favorites. In fact one of my biggest pet peeves about War is that you can't have Shadow Strike Pull and Chain active at the same time. I get why it works that way, but all it did was result in me almost never using Chain because Pull is just too good to switch off of. Dominate/Quiver of Souls is in a similar boat, though ultimately not a big deal since arrows are very easy to come by. But in the first one you got used to arrows refilling every time you dominated someone. Took a little bit to adjust to that split. Arrow refills are not at all worth giving up one of your most important abilities.

Plenty of times. I love Citi Field. I'd easily pick it as my favorite MLB ballpark I've been to, though I suppose that list isn't exactly a long one. I actually went to Citizens Bank last week too for the first time to see that Wheeler vs. Arrieta game. Great ballpark as well. Strangely I've only been to new Yankee Stadium once. I liked it, but Citi is definitely the better one between the two. Other than those three, I've only been to Shea, old Yankee stadium, and Camden Yards. Definitely would like to return to Camden Yards, since I was last there over a decade ago I think.

Wheeler now has more good than bad at least , and Matz too. So there's that. The 4 of them should all bounce back long term, but what they did last year was something that def is suspicious of regression, as the first 3 weeks have shown us, and why they def still need depth.

Jacob Rhame is so bad though. Threw a pitch that went over Hoskins head, 9-0 in the 9th, clearly no intent (nor any reason for it), but Hoskins glared at him a bit and benches emptied... nothing happened. Then it happened again 3 pitches later. Benches didn't even move. It's clear he's just got Mets bullpenitis.

I wonder if the Phillies try anything tomorrow.

check their ERAs if you don't believe me. 4/5 starters have a worse ERA than in any other year in their careers. Plus, we have an empty spot because we have to use AAA guys like Flexen who are not MLB-caliber pitchers. Syndergaard seems to be the one underperforming the hardest out of the starters. And the bullpen seems pretty much as unreliable as it was most of last year, with Diaz being the exception. So I'd consider that pretty typical.
