Agent 47 is Mid Fodder. Gfaqs just doesn't care about the Hitman franchise that much, and Agent 47 doesn't stand out design-wise.

Dark is Mid Fodder based solely on design - he might be an obscure character but he's still a Predator.

I'll go with High Fodder for Haggar due to his memetic bad*ss reputation and appearances in classic games. He's also a wrestler, which Gfaqs seems to like.

Agree with Fodder Line for Lulu. She's popular for her design and. . . assets, but she rarely plays more than a supporting role in FFX.

Agree with Mid Fodder for Butters and High Fodder for Palpatine. Palpatine is an iconic villain in his own right, but isn't really a character people like. He also has very few game appearances outside of straight movie adaptations. A lot of his strength comes from Star Wars prequel memes UNLIMITED POWER

Morrigan is a Low Midcarder. Her performances in the past have been impressive to the point I almost put her as a regular midcarder. But Capcom pretty much shelved the Darkstalkers series since 2013's Resurrection, which also happened to be Morrigan's last contest appearance. So I think she has less relevance today, but she's still got TJF to keep her above the fodder line.

Zack is a Low Midcarder. Most of his strength still comes from being "black-haired Cloud", and Cloud is still very strong. With FFVII remake upcoming, I don't think he will have dropped off much from 2013. He could climb back up to midcarder status when he eventually gets shown off in remake.

Daryl is. . . well. I have never cared about TWD personally, and from what I can tell, all the games that featured Daryl have not been good. I will say he is Mid Fodder, since he seems to be the most popular character from the AMC series. I think that he could get some votes from people who long since stopped watching the series, but do like Daryl himself. There are probably even a few people here who are still following it to the bitter end.

Linkle is a Midcarder. I think Gfaqs likes the idea of female Link overall, and she's really cute too.

Both Garland and Marcus are Mid Fodder. I don't think the OG Final Fantasy has many fans - Garland is mostly relying on the "I will knock you all down" meme and Dissidia. Marcus is recognizable, but Gears of War is not popular on this site and a lot of people dislike him in general.

For Venom Snake I agree with Mid Fodder. Even though he looks like Snake, I don't think people liked his role in the game.

Pyra I think is High Fodder. Xenoblade 2 is honestly not that niche; it is probably the biggest RPG on the Switch. It got overshadowed a bit since it released close to BotW and Odyssey. And Pyra has been popular for. . . waifu-related reasons.

Link's Grandma is Mid Fodder. Joke support has kind of dried up in contests, and she only really has her association with Link to draw from.

Tracer is Mid Fodder. D.Va looked bad, but not low fodder bad, and I think Tracer won't be far from her. She does have some sex appeal, and the fact that she is the face of the game keeps her out of low fodder range imo.

Meowth is a Low Midcarder. Just being a gen 1 pokemon is enough to have some strength, and the anime helps Meowth out a lot. But Meowth wasn't really popular in the games themselves.

George Washington is Fodder Line. Honestly hard to judge, but I don't see him beating anyone who could be considered a midcarder. Assassin's Creed and Civ are not that popular on Gfaqs, and I doubt anyone from outside the US will vote for him.

CJ I honestly think is High Fodder. San Andreas had decent strength in the 2015 game tournament, and did better than Vice City. Plus there are several memes associated with C.J. like following the train and "Aw sh**, here we go again". I would bet that he's stronger than Vercetti at this point.

Buzz Lightyear: High Fodder - I'm of the opinion that a wide swath of GameFAQs doesn't really care about Toy Story, and a combination of its lacking video game legacy and Buzz being the second banana can't help matters.

I would honestly judge Toy Story to be almost as much of a 90s classic as The Lion King, and the movie series is still relevant today. That combined with TS being in Kingdom Hearts III and nostalgia for the first 2 movies and Toy Story 2 game give him a lot of potential strength. But Buzz also strikes me as a character Gfaqs won't care THAT much about, so I will say Fodder Line for him.

I say Rash is Mid Fodder, only because there are new Battletoads games coming out and there are probably some people on Gfaqs who won't let go of the joke.

Aoi is Low Fodder, about the same as Monokuma. I don't know a whole lot about Danganronpa, but there are some girls with strong designs I think could outperform Monokuma. Aoi isn't one of them.

Ken is Fodder Line, which I think was the same strength he had back in 2010. Smash probably doesn't boost him much due to Gfaqs largely not caring about his presence in the game.

Agree with Misty being a Low Midcarder for the same reasoning.

Elsa I think will get anti-voted due to KHIII and end up as Mid Fodder.

It was actually the Nomination Rally Tournament, meaning the board at large decided it was time for him to get a shot, not just one person.

I forget who the Guru was this last contest, but it wasn't Guile.

Either way it was primarily this board that got him into the contest, but it was clear that didn't translate to a lot of contest strength.

I think most people recognize Tony Hawk, but won't get many votes based on people particularly liking him.

For Cammy there are 2 things that I think are being overlooked. First is just how much TJF (or TBF for Cammy) impacted results in CBX. Chun-Li put a good number on Ganondorf, and Velvet Crow of all characters looked stronger than Guile. Cammy is one of the foremost sex symbols in fighting games behind Chun herself. And lets not kid ourselves here: Cammy WILL get a butt pic.

Second is how deceiving Guile's contest performance was. I feel that the reason he performed badly speaks more about Guile himself than the Street Fighter series as a whole. Namely that no one really cares about Guile anymore, and he hasn't been hugely popular since the mid-90s. It took a guru pick to get him into the contest in the first place, and his design simply has not aged well. He was replaced in many SF games with Charlie or Remy, and it feels like fans don't mind his absence as long as there is someone to throw Sonic Booms.

On the other hand, Cammy got into SF4 and 5 because fans demand her presence. I can see the argument for her being High Fodder or Fodder Line, but can't see her being on the same level as Galeem or Big the Cat.

The question with Cammy is how much Gfaqs cares about a SF character who did not appear in vanilla SF. Cammy has a large role in the story of the series, and was available at release in Street Fighters 4 and 5. Due to her, um, appealing design and fan favorite status in the series, I think she will be quite a bit stronger than Guile. Low Midcarder for Cammy.

Tony Hawk is Mid Fodder. I only have him getting to Mid Fodder out of nostalgia for the good, early games in the series. I don't think that many people actually PLAYED as Tony himself in the games either. The last time the Tony Hawk series was relevant, it was for the wrong reasons when Pro Skater 5 came out.

Pauline is Mid Fodder. She would easily be low fodder prior to Super Mario Odyssey, but that game did a lot for making her actually matter for a lot of people. I doubt Gfaqs particularly cares about her role in a game from the early 80s.

Harry Potter is a Low Midcarder. Nostalgia for the books and some of the early games really helps push him above the fodder line along with the movies. However he isn't as relevant now as he was 10-12 years ago, and doesn't really have a standout game that people like. And not everyone cares for Harry himself.

Popeye is High Fodder. He hasn't really been relevant in recent memory, and the main game he is known for is too old for Gfaqs to care about. But there is probably some nostalgia for the cartoon out there thanks to reruns on Cartoon Network, and most people on Gfaqs know him since the site trends older. Though the younger crowd might legitimately have no clue who he is.

Paddle is Mid Fodder. Another character who could have had joke potential in a previous contest. Nowadays though Paddle will get just enough votes to beat weaklings.

Professor Oak is a Low Midcarder for the reasons zen and metalmind stated.

Robo is High Fodder. He was 2nd to last in the polls linked ahead of Marle, and Marle did really bad in her only appearances. He is from a strong game and has some hardcore fans, but not nearly as many as Frog or Magus.

Cappy is Mid Fodder. Only in one very recent game, and he's not a character I have seen anyone talk about.
