I miss old gearbox that openly proclaimed that they had no interest in balancing things, they just wanted to let people do crazy cool goofy combat and have fun.

I'm also annoyed that we're two patches in, and precisely none of the serious performance issues have been resolved, nor any of the glaring couch co-op problems, but instead they keep nerfing the drop rates which is the whole goddamn point of the game.

Theyre punishing the people that are waiting for the game to go on sale on Steam lol

- You have to catch it yourself. Trades dont count.
- People can only trade if theyre close enough to you.

The fact that 50% of stops is giving you that is unlucky. The quest given by a stop is locked to that stop until that day, and is the same for everyone.

I havent gotten any instances of that quest today

I don't think the entire game is in 2D Mode, only specific areas.

The way GameXplain laid it out, made it seem that yes, you can play most of the game in 2D. Cutscenes will still be in 3D.

You can switch at save points but you might have to start further back? Wasnt sure about that part though.

Among other things, Ive heard the 2D mode has random encounters and you set up all of your moves for the turn at the start of the whole turn instead of when its that characters turn to move. So like the old DQ/DW games.

Depends on biome. Its only rare in the sense that you can only catch it in the US outside of egg hatching events

If you dodge most charged attacks, you dont take full damage. You do this by swiping left or right when you see the text show up that theyre doing the attack. Earthquake seems to be a notable exception to this

Almost none of their mobile games feels good to play imo. Only exceptions are Pokemon Go (which isnt even developed by Nintendo) and Super Mario Run (which was a commercial flop, and the reason why they switched to gacha style games like Fire Emblem Heroes, which is very much commercially successful).

Anyone who thinks Joel is a hero clearly didnt pay attention to the story

The reason the ending is so great is because it shows how selfish and human Joel is. Ellie came to replace the hole in his life that Sarah previously filled. So he couldnt let her die, even if it meant that humanity would be saved from its gruesome fate
