Boy was then used for a lesser, usually young position (I.E The "Bakers Boy will bring it over this afternoon" or "Have the boy the tend to the fire") and just due to the fact 9/10 times the "boy" was the son, it became known as males. And the "Gay girls" just became girls and people stopped refering to boys as girls. Weird how language changes. --- |
