Yeah, you should probably try to find an active one. The way to do it is you can preview the guild to see how active it is. But when you get to a guild that runs them, it's under guild events and guild wars. It's basically a character event where you have to fight enemies with waves. Depending on the level range you choose, certain hero groups get buffs. The goal is to get 100% completion on it to get maximum rewards.

I think the points you get are actually pretty generous. You can really buy a lot of class tokens with it.

I am stuck on 5-2 Elite. Bozel is my least favorite ever to go up against. I just can't beat it. Every single time, he uses Black Hole and that's the end of my team. I have tried so many times and I have no issues until I run into Bozel and he just saunters up with Black Hole and then takes somebody out immediately with a Dark Reaper. And after that, anyone who attacks him just gets shredded. And these are my units who have the most Magic Resist on my team.

So frustrating. And I would level up my class for my healer to get the AOE Magic Resist, but all of the tokens are on stages AFTER that level. So I can't even get what I need to level her up for that. Extremely frustrating.

I felt that MK9 was actually really solid and interesting. MKX was decent, but sorely lacking in a lot of interesting elements and totally dropping the ball on character interaction which is honestly the thing I think you can look most forward to. Basically, MKX had a ton of potential and they didn't capitalize on it at all

He looks like he will somehow play like Aquaman from Injustice 2. But most importantly, his taunts are in his moveset. He looks really fun though.

I think the only weird thing is that in most outfits, they refuse to let any of the females show any skin, even in the alt costumes. It's a weird kind of dichotomy when the most skin on a girl is wearing a tank top while the men are full on shirtless. I don't think having, say, female professional wrestling outfits would have been bad on some of them. These guys are all clear wrestling fans, so they have to at least understand that.

That said, most outfits are pretty quality anyway so I'm not totally heartbroken. The only one I think makes no sense at all is Skarlet. If anyone should have less clothes on than most, it's Skarlet. Because she's a mad, crazy chick who just wants to absorb the blood of her opponents, so her showing more skin makes sense with that.

But then it feels kind of like Skarlet's character has been retconned (which is weird because they claim the MK Komic is canon and she wasn't like this in that?).

I looked at the prospect of a princess team. The only character I have who can give me a princess buff is Shelfaniel, and while I keep her stats up, I find that she's not particularly a "use in a majority of situations" sort of character. My only other option is Luna, but I have her in the Bow Master class right now.

My other options for another team are the Legion of glory, but without Ledin or Elwin it feels like that might not be the best team to build around. There's also an Origins of Light team, in which the only thing I'm really missing to make that a great team are Tiaris and Dieharte, but I have plenty of other units I can boost. My issue with both of those is that Freya or Grenier would be my only buffers for that, and it feels like maybe they shouldn't since they'd both be my chief tanks and that wasting a the slot on a faction buff might not be the right choice for them?

Of course, I can be totally off base here. So I'm open to being corrected.

I don't even think it's that convoluted.

Kitana throws her fans and severs her opponent in three sections, summons one back, then kicks it at the severed head balancing on the other fan.

I don't think this one is as convoluted as, say, one of Scorpions or Sub-Zero's. But the point of throwing a sai at it is to show off after you beat your opponent.

I mean, if we're going to say "what's the point of the fighters styling on people" then what is really the point of any fatality?

My main tank has Phalanx, and my main healer has Lava Golems. I don't think I have anyone with angels, although I guess I can try to build Leon there since he's the only one I use who can get it? Other options are Cherie and Matthew who I have leveled or Narm or Creepy tan guy.

I think the only story mission I had left was the one where it's all demon and lava golem units, and then when you get to the harpy at the end, a ton of harpies show up. I did not feel like tackling that again.

That said, almost to level 50. Not sure what to expect from there on!

I mean in that some seem to be absurdly difficult. I was doing ones that were two levels below me and enemies were just one shotting some of my strongest units. And they were normal units, not hero ones.

I usually try to do the gold cheese, but there weren't any when I wanted to finish my missions. I eventually got through with a mission that seemed far easier than the others (don't ask me how or why).

It was just extremely frustrating since it was the last mission I needed today and I won't have time to wait around for an easy one later.

Lol they actually had D'Vorah kill Kitana's dad King Jerod. I am usually not opposed to sneaking in characters who have been in the background in previous games, but fuck you with that nonsense.

In any case, Kitana's outfit with her headband looks pretty lame. I think they just wanted to show off her face. Kitana looks cool. I am satisfied with my Kitana. D'Vorah has a lot of really neat stuff.

You can buy in-game money to get cosmetic gear and easy fatalities you want. Gear still has no stats. They have confirmed it is absolutely not going to be pay to win stuff. Just cosmetics.

They are basically hammering in that you can't pay to win super fucking hard. Lol

I love Legends of Tomorrow.

But Mona is the absolute worst. I really wanted to like her. In fact, I think I would normally love this character. But her actress is so incredibly bad that it's unbelievable to me that they actually casted her in this show. I can't get over just how bad she is at acting and it just kills the character for me.

I think the only reason I'm currently frustrated is because I am stuck on the stages I need to beat so I can get Priest medals. I only have one out of three stages for it, which makes it very slow going to collect them. Especially since I have done my guild purchases already.

I think Resist only blocks one Ram. Because I used to do that, but she would always stop guarding after the second. It's really only the stages with multiple horse units that give me issue at this point.

I have Phalanx and Freya is my tank de jour. Her issue is that Ram is popular in battles now at that level, shutting off her defending. It's super obnoxious to set things up and I kind of have to use my Leon for a secondary tank.

I'm 44 and stuck on I think 5-4 Normal? I've been slowly about to go through the 4 Elite missions, but I was really hung up on one for a while.

It seems like a steep incline though from here.
