I would shoot Ulti and here's why:

It's not so much about whether he's more likely scum.

1) he's claimed miller thanos, which, no matter what he flips ultimately, that is going to shed light on the setup with low risk of losing town power

2) he's less likely than Han to be helpful in future days, just generally speaking, based on their personalities and histories as players

3) it's day 1 and shooting Ulti is just more fun

I think you are right. I mean, I might just need to ignore Han this day to stay on task because Han is the only reason I am even losing faith on things here. If Ulti is scum.and Han town, it is almost like Han is trying to play as poorly as possible to save him.

Gibberish with scare to use red as a person he wouldn't do it on.

Bad defense of red and illogical of bussing a ulti suicide to contradict it directly later on by saying someone would bus an ulti suicide.

Basically, the way I see it is that Han does the I would die before Scare thing if Han is either Scum doing it to town because it is a bit too clear as scum/scum or Han is Town who did it to a random which makes it non-alignment indicative of Scare (to breadcrumb he is bodyguard).

Han uses this opportunity to say who he would NOT do the same thing for. In red. Why red? Scum buddy? Not a great argument but possible. However, he later is defending Red with bad arguments when Red gains some votes and gets defensive when called out on defending Red. This makes it more likelier.

So what I got if Ulti is scum, Red is scum. Han is Town.

But if Ulti is town, it makes the read on Red Null, but Han has defended Red and Scare poorly. Han could then be scum (possibly) since Ulti isn't scum which could lead to a link with Red and/or scare being scum with him.

Everything goes through Ulti though.

To devil's advocate though he spends a lot of time talking about his role PM mentioning Thanos is dead and he talks a lot about the timeline stuff which I'm not sure he would know if he didn't have a town PM.

Well, scum probably has example town PM's and a safelist. The argument really doesn't make sense there, eaed. Red's argument was absolutely terrible from the start.
