Yeah. I didn't even really grind either. I just did maybe 3 or 4 of those red tower things in the wild area, captured some pokemon, battled every trainer i came across(didn't detour) and boom 26. The rest of my part is in the high 10's/lower 20s.

Yeah I'm starting to notice some holes in the story. Was going to give TC and his wife the benefit of the doubt but really why didn't they just move away when she first mentioned it? The fact that this is going on for YEARS and that she ALWAYS falls for it makes me think someone isn't telling the truth. Also the fact that she didn't just lead the police to the whorehouse instead of this weird back and forth, almost makes it seem like she is complicit in all of this and is just guilt tripping TC into staying so she can get a fix
