It sure is! What's interesting is that the original SNES soundtrack was composed by Yumiko Kanki, but Naoto Ishida did two songs for it; Big Blue and the ending theme. Despite having a small role in the soundtrack, Ishida still came up with one of the most memorable songs from the entire SNES library (not to sell Yumiko short, her work was phenomenal).

I know mine seems oddly specific but I read it in Richard Matheson's Other Kingdoms and it stuck with me (except the witch in the book had a machete). The problem is it was only one small part of the book.

But it does seem like most witch romances either end up in a burning building or with them naked and insane somehow (Carrie, etc). It's a powerful image.

Well, hopefully you have some homeowner's insurance to cover fire damage (Carrie was a good one).

What do you think of the K7 Avenger, AR34 and the Callisto NTG?

K7 Avenger is a monster, with higher damage than most automatics and a very nifty threat detector. The 25 round magazine balances it out, so it usually ends up being a "clip per customer" kind of gun.

AR34 is also a powerhouse, dealing the same damage as the K7. ROF seems a bit slower than the K7, but I feel like I can engage multiple targets easier with the AR34. The secondary fire mode works a lot better on the XBLA version since you can toggle the zoom instead of holding B.

SIDE NOTE: Joanna Dark in her evening dress armed with an AR34 is quite stunning.

Callisto NTG is neat. Primary fire is nothing remarkable, but high impact shells deal the same damage as the standatd 357 magnum! The high damage makes it a fun weapon to use, plus you can go for longer stretches without needing to reload.

The Area 51 levels are definitely not forgettable, but the way the 2nd and 3rd part flow together almost makes it feel like a single level sometimes.

I might go with Pelagic II. It's a lot of cramped hallways, but those guards with the white shirts and red overalls very vividly remind me of Fire Mario, so it's a tough choice.

Overall, most of the Perfect Dark missions left some kind of impression on me.

I suppose Nintendo had cold feet about using the joystick for 3D gaming and they built the d-pad side in case things didn't pan out? The success of Super Mario 64 made the left side of the controller unused for most of the N64's life cycle (with a few exceptions).
