| butthole666 11/26/18 4:37:39 PM #47 | The wanted system is the antithesis of fun The game eats inputs like candy The animations are needless and tedious Everything is needlessly slow to accomodate said animations The plot is a goddamn fucking atrocity, and although the character writing is impeccable, its supremely disappointing in how little any of it actually amounts to The aiming is garbage The horses control like utter shit The number of ambient events or what have you that are missable and are never spawned again is laughable, and the fact that so many are one and done makes the world feel lifeless after a certain point The micromanagement is often overwhelming, and a great many features are locked behind endless button tapping and holding through assorted menus and needlessly limited resources. Seriously, the special ammo types and various buffs you can get are pretty tight, but I almost never use them because of how needlessly convoluted the process of getting them is; the lack of batch crafting and the obscene and inefficient resource use is unbearable. Keeping Arthur at an acceptable weight is a fuckin herculean feat.
