There's no way this can be true can it? It lists the shelter that each of the puppies come from. Isn't it possible that they were just adopted by the time the bowl aired? As was mentioned, it does come out several months after taping. What, did this person actually say that someone from animal planet approached them and said "we want to use your puppy in the puppy bowl"?

That just sounds like shenanigans. I am betting it was a misunderstanding, and that maybe this person didn't realize that this was pre-recorded. So they saw their puppy on TV and was like "Hey that's my puppy!"

NEW RULE
I'm already getting people who are missing several weeks after a bad week 1, so starting now, if someone has missed 4 consecutive weeks, I am removing them from the roster. That means if you skipped week 2 and week 3, and skip again this week and next week, I will remove you from the standings.

Last week's outright winner was TheKnightOfNee with a 12-4 week, and the standings reflect that with a jump up to first place! Swifty and Scare were tied with Nee at 10 going into the sunday night game, but only nee got both that and the MNF game correct. Good job!

It's not so much the qb being the star in of himself, as it is them making the offense roll and the game more enjoyable to watch as a whole. Offense sells. Defense doesn't. So if you have a bunch of scrubs manning the offense, there's no offense.

I don't mind them changing the game to protect qbs but they also need to make concessions to the defense to keep the game balanced. Otherwise why even trot a defense out there? If they keep skewing the game more and more in favor of offense, then pretty soon you won't have anyone who wants to play defense. Maybe let there be 12 defensive personnel or something.

Does anyone know what this actually means? Like what is the drawback to removing someone from a roster?

Edit: Never mind, it seems that the articles which outline this may have been misleading. Someone on reddit pointed out that he hasn't been under contract therefore he could never be on the 53 man roster, just on the exempt/franchise list.
