many areas have a real strong "Fuck the police" attitude so the cops fear for their lives when they go alone. You hear a ton of stories about how sometimes the police dont come. Then it helps perpetuate a vicious cycle. The community starts to hate the police even more and threaten and talk shit to them. The cops respond by not coming to their aid. and it keeps going.

Sucks for the law abiding citizens who live there.

Does this show get any better? I watched the first two episodes, and it's kinda funny, I like all the animal jokes, but it doesn't seem like some amazing profound work of art like its fans say.

That game has way more problems than just linearity. Worst combat system ever

Eh, the series went downhill after X. X-2 was playable due to the great gameplay, but the poor writing was starting to show by that point. XII pretty much killed the series for me, I did try XIII anyway and couldn't get in to it.

Like it or not, the US have a huge influence - even when they don't intend to - on policies of other countries, especially other English-speaking countries.

I can't speak for other countries, but in Canada the only thing time any tax revenue goes into breast augmentation is to make them smaller for health concerns, like stress to your spine and back.
