as a result, many aisles look disjointed and haphazardly thrown together with way too much product missing

this is the first time i can recall walmart just overhauling the entire store and leaving a good chunk of it looking like it was ransacked

is this normally what happens during renovation for walmart? they make a huge chunk of inventory turn up missing and as a result customers are forced to buy whatever happens to exist

Overwatch isn't a bad game, by any stretch, but it does have some ridiculous problems, and Blizz really doesn't care.

I guess what I'm saying is, Make Overwatch Great Again

also the fact Blizzard just overhypes OWL and promotes the hell out if it is kinda funny when you consider that the console audience cannot even participate in the competitive OW scene even if they wanted to

so being amazing on Console just really doesn't matter because blizzard has tournaments on lockdown and all on pc(plus even then the road to pro is extremely difficult to get into)

It's less to do with being home schooled, and more to do with inflation hitting comics hard, apparently. I was absolutely shocked when Inhumane said comics go for $20-$35 nowadays.

those are usually the price of big volumes not singles

Single issues are still rather expensive for the page content

comics are usually $4 to $5 bucks an issue sometimes even more if it's one of those anniversary issues or it's a extra size first issue

god help you if it's a double shipping comic...that makes the cost bigger

If you have very little expenses or expenses that are easily covered $100 a month isn't much. Granted $100 a month can be a lot if you say... are making car payments, and a mortgage, along with other utilities. That $100 could be better spent elsewhere.

I mean you could be a NEET on welfare and in a section 8 housing unit and $500 a month could go to comics/video games/figurines. Meanwhile you could own a car and a home and work a decent job but only spare $100 for entertainment a month.

and i guess that's what shocked me on the comics board is that most of them came off as they had no bills or very little expenses to consider

maybe 100 dollars a month isn't as many comics as i think it is but i keep thinking at that price you get quite a hefty backlog

i just think comics can be a hobby that gets way too expensive if you aren't careful and simply just a buy crap ton of stuff every month without a care in the world

one thing that always terrifies me is the backlog...that can get out of hand

true i mean if it's your only hobby i guess but considering the average comic book fan probably sticks close to marvel/dc that's even more money spent on anniversary issues crossover tie-ins and double shipping

even with that mind some of them counter back saying "it's normal for people to spend over a hundred dollars on the weekend"

maybe i just never knew the right people but most people I've talked to[even online]typically don't spend over a hundred dollars every weekend

when questioning comic book readers who have an enormous amount of books on their pull list every month i get this as a counter argument

that unless you are a broke student or working at mcdonalds dropping 100 bucks or maybe a little more each month on comic books is just a little drop in the bucket especially if it's something you really love

however i can't agree with that as much of a fan of the medium I am...it's still seen as a bit nuts for me to believe comic book fans would disregard any complaints about price and say it's all good if you love it

maybe I'm wrong but when someone's comic book reading hobby goes over the price of a video game and starts threatening to cost as much as one of your monthly bills that's a bit insane(and if the bills aren't cheap then well dumping 100 bucks or more a month isn't viable)

Since I like the genre, I take what I can get as far as single player goes. Can't help it if no one I know likes playing fighting games with me. I'm not fantastic at most, but I'm better than my friends. -_-

Smash has tried to play into being more of a competitive game since the wii-u/3ds release after that nintendo held invitationals for smash brothers(yes people played it competitively before then but it wasn't until Wii-U/3DS Smash that nintendo attempted to legitimize the claims of smash being competitive)

this game however...no matter how you slice it SNK isn't gonna attempt to even suggest this could be a game played in tournaments

they see this game as a side-project to attract casual gamers who just wanna stare at asses and mash random buttons while sometimes using items

if most competitive fighting game fans tried to play snk heroines they'd get bored within an hour after discovering there's little to no depth with the game and a person who just picked up the game and is simply smashing his hand on the controller is just as very likely to beat someone whose put forty hours into the game

i dare someone to try and find a way for this game to be competitive

it ain't gonna be easy

I think it's possible that this game may not agree with NMB's morals... maybe...

it's less morals and more that a silly goofy party fighting game that has no competitive vibe at all doesn't have much staying power

plus as mentioned the one button specials and item power-ups just make it more of a casual derp game than an actual fighting game
