I have a gaming laptop but honestly it's not very strong, 1050Ti and i5-8300h cpu so the next cycle of AAA games i won't be hitting 60 fps most likely. I was thinking of building a gaming PC with my tax refund(I got 1100 last year and i don't think i actually worked the full year plus i wasn't making much, now i'm making almost double so i'm expecting around 1600-1700)

I don't really have any other bills to pay, so i mean if i REALLY wanted to i could buy an X1X or a PS4 pro every paycheck but for the most part it's kept in check. I have a solid library of games on the PS4 already but from what I hear, the Xbox is starting to fall behind, outputting RDR2 in less than 1080p and having slowdowns in games so i wanted an X since they're on sale for the same price as the PS4 pro.

I agree though the PS4 Pro might be overkill, i've played all the exclusives and it's moreso at this point of just getting a fully functional ps4 again but from what I hear, some of the exclusives look AMAZING on the pro

xbox one x is just an expensive console trying to be a PC. It's in a weird place. If you really cared for the graphical prowess of the X1X you'd just get a PC at that point since imo X1 doesn't have enough true exclusives to warrant spending $500 and with game pass coming soon to PC, who knows if those will also included xbox only games like Halo MCC

Historically, Nintendo isn't a direct sales competitor to Sony and MS outside the handheld market. The Wii was a huge outlier in a market where casual gaming was on the rise and it was cheaper than the 360 and ps3. The Switch will have its sales but it won't threaten PS4 and X1 sales. With MS basically bowing out and shifting their attention to the PC market and making the X1 a media player(didn't Sony do this last gen with the PS3) they'll just sit on their ass. They don't even think it important enough to show up at the major gaming conferences now.

MS is really gonna have to impress with the next Xbox or they might as well leave the console business and focus only on PC imo

Hell, they were pushing PUBG pretty hard saying it was only on xbox and now it's on PS4...seems to be the tale for the rest of their exclusives.

This is purely a matter of opinion. That said there are tons of PC exclusives that never come to consoles. A lot of them are very good as well.

Virtually no RTS games ever go to Console. Going all the way back to Starcraft 64 is just a demonstration of why they don't come to consoles.

Most MMOs actually worth playing are PC exclusive. I guess Final Fantasy XIV is on console but that's basically it.

Despite PSVR's best efforts (which weren't really all that) most VR games actually worth playing are PC exclusive. They recently got Beat Saber which is cool but the gap is going to widen as VR technology improves on PC unimpeded by console generations.

At the end of the day, PC gaming is primarily about options, and not being able to replace all other forms of gaming. Consoles remove most of your options and choices in exchange for giving you a small amount of choices that you can't get anywhere else.

A top end gaming PC costs a lot of money but can you really put a price on your choice?

rts games dont come to consoles because no one would buy them. They're extremely niche.

Console exclusives are better than PC exclusives by far, all the decent PC only games end up coming to consoles, the only ending factor becomes "do you want to spend thousands to make this game look prettier". Let's be real now. You can go pick up an Xbox One right now at Gamestop for $170 + tax. It'll run every game ever released for it without messing with settings or wondering if it'll be strong enough. Hell, it'll even run 360 and original xbox one games. Add $5 a month and you can get Xbox Game Pass, a lot of games that you might not have played, great deal for casual gamers. They even have the Halo MCC on there, along with DmC Devil May Cry, all xbox one exclusives, etc..

add in the online fee($10 a month or $60 a year) and you're pretty much set. Game pass & gold are also frequently bundled together. You can probably find them combined for $100. Not even the price of 2 new games and you probably won't have to buy any games unless they're brand new multiplats AND you're able to play RDR2, KH3, among other console exclusives.

For the PS4, thats another beast where it'll run you $100 more unless you find someone on craigslist or something selling for $200 but you end up with better exclusives.

Sure Luffy is faster but Zoro has extreme reaction speeds. i mean pre time skip Zoro was dodging fuckin blasts from Kuma, who stated that they were near light speed. If Z & L ever had to seriously fight, it would either end in a draw or with Luffy just BARELY taking the W(because he's the main character but Zoro cutting Luffy a few times SHOULD end the fight by nature of Mihawk nearly cutting off Luffys arms in Marineford and Luffy being terrified to death of it)
