Something has unfortunately come up, so no round today. In the meantime, let's talk schedules.

There are nine regular rounds remaining (top 11 through top 3) and then the two day final. Assuming no more breaks, the final 3 (day 98) would be on the 18th, and the contest would end on the 20th, while Thanksgiving is on the 22nd. Taking the top 10/5 breaks would push the final right into Thanksgiving, which I don't consider a viable option.

So basically, it's either rounds every day from tomorrow until the end (which is my preferred option), or multiple extra days off in addition to the two standard days. That said, I'd like to get a general idea of what the rest of you would prefer - if there's an overwhelming preference one way or the other, I'll go with that, but otherwise, we're blitzing our way to the finish.

No character has thrived more in the post-raytan era than Squall. Even despite bleeding supporters year after year, Squall has managed to make consistent deep pushes. Unfortunately for him, this placement ends his top ten streak two short of the all-time record, but it's still good enough for a small bump from 74.98% to 75.69%, good for 9th in the STATS.

-First offence is a round-ban that's half the number of saves required to be safe that day, rounded up. So today would be 6 rounds;
-Second offence is fully the number of saves required to be safe that day, and if there's still rounds left at the end of the contest it'd carry over to the start of next year's edition;
-Third offence is permanent contest ban.

I agree that a single round is not enough of a deterrent, but having a sliding scale like this is a very bad idea

Squall has been strong the last several years even if hes never looked strong enough to win the whole thing easily. I mean he was #1 in those NEW stats that supposedly dont exist now. Really the only super strong character left is Vivi now as far as stats go I think

Squall's support this year was mostly pj, with Steiner assisting in the later rounds

he lived (and eventually died) on the support he was able to draw from people whose round attendance was more than a bit inconsistent
