No, the honor of the Noble Nine changed the result with the Mega Man/Pikachu rematch. I'm sure that there was a lot of resentment against PokeFEAR still lingering here, and while they found it cute to topple him the first time, they were way less generous in a rematch. Especially since this is the same NNer that everybody had pushed so hard to defeat Charizard against all odds 5 years ago and barely managed to succeed. As for the case of this Samus/Mario rematch, it's probably just #smartvoters thinking that if Mario couldn't defeat Zelda, then perhaps Samus could somehow repeat her 2006 performance against Zelda in the aftermath of the Ultimate SFF match. --- >unironically playing video games |
