I think a lot of the kids who call themselves gender fluid or non-binary (it is predominantly found in the younger generation) do so out of a desire to be seen as unique and special. Back in the day before anyone even entertained this notion, those kids would have been been Goth or punks or something.

She's not wrong. As far as I'm aware she's not calling a complete shut down of immigration. I'm not for that either. Some kind of immigration reform would be good though. It is in every sovereign nation's interest to retain their identity, their culture, their way of life, their values, etc. An overload of immigration CAN be a threat to that as we've seen with European nations.

How many legal immigrants a sovereign nation decides to take in is a very important decision and it shouldn't be decided hastily one way or another.

It's a strawman to say that people who don't believe gender-fluidity is real, think they're actively being harmed by those people or believe those people shouldn't be treated fairly. People with issues, as long as it isn't beyond the pale criminal, should be afforded patience and understanding.
