Satan riding Buu is only an LR on non-Dokkan Fest banners really. Dokkan Fest banners typically never have LRs aside from the time they released LR Gogeta and LR Vegito anyways. Those two are coming back on a banner in like a week or two.

Goku banner is up. No special deals or anything for it. Has quite a few great cards, but I think Im gonna wait and see if anything more hype leaks before the banner goes away

Haha I suppose so. A lawyering, 2 unbeatable trains nobody else could have beaten and sabotaged partnerships have all been Lights obstacles. Im not sure shes had one contest without any sort of drama. This one was close until the lawyering :(

The newer ones with exp share off were actually somewhat challenging because the games were designed to be played with it on. They really should do a Hard mode available from the start instead of the half-assed thing B/W tried with it. Not that Pokemon is ever really hard outside of the cheating battle arenas

Probably the hardest thing about replaying is the inability to use the analog. At least I couldnt when I played the physical version, but maybe they made changes when it went digital to support that?

I can sorta get where Eddvs statement comes from because by the late 2000s there were several RPGs that were of such high quality that playing something like 7 would feel kinda awkward in a lot of ways. I mean a mere 4 years later FFX was out and is a colossal world of difference in presentation. Just part of the technological gap though.

Amie was hilarious even in the main games. Literally had a Pokemon survive at 1HP 6 times in a row. Probably super low odds of that happening, but it was amazing to see. Didnt know about the lack of abilities and held items. This game sounds easy enough for a 4-5 year old to beat fairly easily. Maybe that was the intent to capture a new generation of fans? I dont know.

The shoe resonates with me in a way nothing else ever will. The shoe symbolizes so much and can teach us all valuable life lessons.

Who said I was bragging about them? I just listed who Im voting for in the remaining R1 matches since the contest is going on break for a week. I dont see how it came off as bragging. I dont have anything contest related worth bragging about other than being one of the few who took Geralt winning 3 matches (but I took him over Auron too so...)

1/4 of the top 16 is gonna be FF. They might not win every match, but people arent really too wrong when they say Nintendo and FF always win. I mean they dont literally, but they win enough that it is a pretty fair criticism outsiders have imo

I could only imagine the carnage if Alucard somehow defeated Cloud. He probably already busted some points off people, but that would be so amusing to see. Sucks Luigi cant even win this match and he didnt really get to look good at all this time because his opponents before Tifa were all pretty weak. My only favorite left doesnt stand a chance against Sonic either. Oh well.

Few years ago when I replayed most of the series. I beat it and liked it more than when I originally played it, but its still pretty far down the pecking order for me

Shit like this is exactly why DB will never look good feat wise. Even if this isnt canon it doesnt change that Goku was also basically defeated in the same fashion in RoF which is canon.

Aside from the fact Gohan wouldnt have killed him because the reason Cell even blew himself up anyways was because Gohan was just toying with him instead of actually trying to kill him....

I mean this is the same series that wrote an entire arc that made it look like Gohan was going to beat Buu only to throw him under the bus at the last minute and give us a terrible joke of a finale (at the time) to the series instead. Toriyama cant even remember the difference between Super Saiyan 2 and 3 design wise and didnt even know 18 was blonde. The guy knows less about his own series than the average casual fan

Superman does have multiple different writers, but they all seem to be really passionate and come up with all sorts of numerical feats while DBs writer cant even remember transformations in the series or what hair color some of the characters have. Theres no reason Cell couldnt have just instantly obliterated Earth by firing a blast at it over slowly inflating himself to self destruct. Super just makes all the writing even worse too by making up the most random reasons for people who were dwarfed in power ages ago suddenly being super strong again out of nowhere. I mean all of this is silly anyways since theres a guy who just sat on the ground while an old man danced and snoozed around him and made him super strong because....I cant even remember if it had a good excuse or not

The 4 of them were literally right next to each other and he had time to fly over to Hercule and Dende without using his instant transmission. He couldve grabbed the actual fighters instead or even all of them. I mean surely hes fast enough and strong enough to carry a couple people without issue. Lets face it DB started off as a gag series and the writing never evolved to a level where intelligence was required

If Goku is so fast how come he couldnt save Trunks, Goten, Piccolo and Gohan with his instant transmissions??? Even back then he should be fast enough because its instant right?

DB would need good writing to have any sort of credible feats. You dont need a high power level at all to blow up the Earth so anybody even powering up on it after Frieza should crack the Earth into pieces. Characters supposedly get power levels into the millions and beyond, but can fight on Earth all the time and usually only small rocky areas take any real damage from their fights. Its honestly ridiculous and even the writer just phones it in and cant even remember most of his own series.

DB has no worthwhile feats and I say this as a DB fan.

Ive read like 2 Superman comics and when he was bench pressing the entire mass of planet Earth in one like it was nothing it was a far more impressive feat than anything DB has ever had. Superman got this
